Mukhyamantri Vidhwa Evam Ekal Nari Awas Yojna
- The state government of Himachal Pradesh has recently increased the ambit of its welfare activities with the prime focus being on inclusion of hitherto excluded vulnerable sections of society.
- Taking a major initiative in this regard, the state government has announced that an ambitious scheme would be launched in order to provide financial assistance to eligible widows and single women for the construction of houses.
- As per the plans of the state government in this regard, a sum of Rs 1.5 lakh would be provided as financial assistance under this scheme to about 7,000 women with an annual income of less than Rs 2 lakh per annum, during the current financial year.
- Notably, the scheme was announced during the budget session and was touted as one of the prominent initiatives of the state government to go beyond the traditional definitions as well as approaches when it comes to welfare activities of the government.
- The Women and Child Development Department is finalising the modalities of the scheme. In this regard, the state government has underlined that this initiative will provide much-needed support to these women who often face difficulties in building houses due to financial constraints.
- Moreover, the houses constructed under this scheme will be equipped with basic facilities such as electricity, water, and other necessary amenities, which would ensure that the women have access to essential resources.
- The government's efforts to address the housing needs of these vulnerable groups would go a long way in promoting inclusive and sustainable development in the state.
मुख्यमंत्री विधवा एवं एकल नारी आवास योजना
- हिमाचल प्रदेश की राज्य सरकार ने हाल ही में अपनी कल्याणकारी गतिविधियों का दायरा बढ़ाया है, जिसका मुख्य ध्यान समाज के अब तक बहिष्कृत कमजोर वर्गों को शामिल करने पर है।
- इस संबंध में एक बड़ी पहल करते हुए, राज्य सरकार ने घोषणा की है कि पात्र विधवाओं और एकल महिलाओं को घर के निर्माण के लिए वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए एक महत्वाकांक्षी योजना शुरू की जाएगी।
- इस संबंध में राज्य सरकार की योजना के अनुसार, चालू वित्तीय वर्ष के दौरान 2 लाख रुपये से कम वार्षिक आय वाली लगभग 7,000 महिलाओं को इस योजना के तहत 1.5 लाख रुपये की वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी।
- विशेष रूप से, इस योजना की घोषणा बजट सत्र के दौरान की गई थी और जब सरकार की कल्याणकारी गतिविधियों की बात आती है तो इसे पारंपरिक परिभाषाओं के साथ-साथ दृष्टिकोण से परे जाने के लिए राज्य सरकार की प्रमुख पहलों में से एक माना जाता था।
- महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग योजना की रूपरेखा को अंतिम रूप दे रहा है। इस संबंध में, राज्य सरकार ने रेखांकित किया है कि यह पहल उन महिलाओं को बहुत आवश्यक सहायता प्रदान करेगी जिन्हें अक्सर वित्तीय बाधाओं के कारण घर बनाने में कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ता है।
- इसके अलावा, इस योजना के तहत निर्मित घर बुनियादी सुविधाओं जैसे बिजली, पानी और अन्य आवश्यक सुविधाओं से सुसज्जित होंगे, जिससे यह सुनिश्चित होगा कि महिलाओं को आवश्यक संसाधनों तक पहुंच प्राप्त हो।
- इन कमजोर समूहों की आवास आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने के सरकार के प्रयास राज्य में समावेशी और सतत विकास को बढ़ावा देने में काफी मददगार साबित होंगे।
Five heliports to be built in Hamirpur
- Five heliports would be constructed in Hamirpur district at a cost of Rs 12 crore to promote tourism and provide a fast mode of travelling to tourists
हमीरपुर में बनेंगे पांच हेलीपोर्ट
- पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने और पर्यटकों को तीव्र गति से यात्रा का साधन उपलब्ध कराने के लिए 12 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से हमीरपुर जिले में पांच हेलीपोर्ट का निर्माण किया जाएगा।
Pong Dam records highest-ever water inflow
- The Pong dam on the Beas River in Himachal Pradesh has recorded the highest-ever inflow since it became operational in 1974.
- The water inflow into the dam reached 7,30,079 (7.30 lakh) cusecs on 14th August,2023.
- The previous highest inflow of 7,15,400 (7.15 lakh) cusecs was recorded in 1978.
- The Pong Dam is situated in Talwara, on the border of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
- The primary catchment area for the dam is in Himachal Pradesh.
पोंग बांध में अब तक का सबसे अधिक पानी का प्रवाह दर्ज किया गया
- हिमाचल प्रदेश में ब्यास नदी पर बने पोंग बांध में 1974 में चालू होने के बाद से अब तक का सबसे अधिक प्रवाह दर्ज किया गया है।
- 14 अगस्त 2023 को बांध में पानी की आवक 7,30,079 (7.30 लाख) क्यूसेक तक पहुंच गई।
- 7,15,400 (7.15 लाख) क्यूसेक का पिछला उच्चतम प्रवाह 1978 में दर्ज किया गया था।
- पोंग बांध पंजाब और हिमाचल प्रदेश की सीमा पर तलवाड़ा में स्थित है।
