Skilling Unemployed Youth
Why in news:
Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN) has signed 10 new memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with various sector skill councils to create better academic avenues for the state youth.
Key Points:
The courses, which have more than 4,000 combined seats, would be made available at a nominal fees. The MoUs were signed by the Secretary Technical education, Himachal Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam Managing Director.According to the state government authorities, the initiative focuses on identifying and addressing the gaps in the current workforce and ensure that the skills being imparted align with industry requirements.It has further been pointed out that by collaborating with various sector skill councils and including educational institutions, industry experts, and government bodies, the state government has successfully created a conducive environment for skill development.Such collaborations would aid in generating a talent pool in the state. He said that handicraft and carpet skill council will offer five training programmes on computer-aided designs for carpets, wooden toy making, upcycling scraps and e-waste artisans, soft toy making and ceramics preparation artisan. Automotive skills development council will provide training for the roles of service technician and sales consultant.Under the media skill council, there are job roles for animator, graphic designer, editor and sound editor. In addition to that, the MSME technology centre will provide training in CNC lathe programming, PLC and microcontroller programming.There are four training programmes under agriculture skill council and three in logistic council, while gem and jewel council would provide training in jewellery designing, retail sales and component making among others.

जिन पाठ्यक्रमों में 4,000 से अधिक संयुक्त सीटें हैं, उन्हें मामूली शुल्क पर उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। MOUS को सचिव तकनीकी शिक्षा, हिमाचल प्रदेश और हिमाचल प्रदेश कौशाल विकास निगाम प्रबंध निदेशक द्वारा हस्ताक्षरित किया गया था। राज्य सरकार के अधिकारियों के अनुसार, पहल वर्तमान कार्यबल में GAPS को संरेखित करने और संबोधित करने के लिए तैयार की गई है। सफलतापूर्वक कौशल विकास के लिए एक अनुकूल वातावरण बनाया। Such सहयोग राज्य में एक प्रतिभा पूल बनाने में सहायता करेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि हस्तशिल्प और कालीन कौशल परिषद कालीन, लकड़ी के खिलौने बनाने, अपसाइक्लिंग स्क्रैप और ई-कचरा कारीगरों, सॉफ्ट टॉय बनाने और सिरेमिक तैयारी कारीगरों के लिए कंप्यूटर-सहायता प्राप्त डिजाइन पर पांच प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम पेश करेगी। ऑटोमोटिव कौशल विकास परिषद सेवा तकनीशियन और बिक्री सलाहकार की भूमिकाओं के लिए प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करेगी। मीडिया कौशल परिषद के तहत, एनिमेटर, ग्राफिक डिजाइनर, संपादक और ध्वनि संपादक के लिए नौकरी की भूमिकाएं हैं। इसके अलावा, एमएसएमई प्रौद्योगिकी केंद्र सीएनसी खराद प्रोग्रामिंग, पीएलसी और माइक्रोकंट्रोलर प्रोग्रामिंग में प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करेगा। कृषि कौशल परिषद के तहत चार और लॉजिस्टिक काउंसिल में तीन प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम हैं, जबकि रत्न और आभूषण परिषद आभूषण डिजाइनिंग, खुदरा बिक्री और घटक बनाने में प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करेगी।
