State Handicrafts Corporation To Be Rebranded As 'Him-Craft'
The state government of Himachal government has recently announced that it will rebrand the State Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation Ltd as 'Him-Craft'.

In this regard, the state government authorities have pointed out that branding is crucial for any product and the new brand name will help in promoting and branding all handicrafts and handloom products made by artisans and weavers of the state.As per the official mandate, the move is aimed at increasing the income of artisans and expanding their customer base for economic growth and greater financial stability. This will ensure authenticity, enhance customer satisfaction and build trust for the state's handicrafts and handloom products. In addition to that, the new trade name will be reflected in all official documents, including business cards, letterheads, email signatures and the official website, consolidating all handloom and handicrafts products under a single umbrella brand.The Handloom and Handicraft products made by the artisans of Himachal are in great demand in the domestic and international markets. Some souvenir items made by the 'Him-Craft' for gifting to the delegates of G-20 were appreciated widely.It is noteworthy that the state has a rich tradition of weaving, embroidery, wood carving, metalwork, pottery etc. and these traditional handicrafts have been passed down from generations and have evolved over time, incorporating modern techniques and designs.

हिमाचल सरकार ने हाल ही में घोषणा की है कि वह राज्य हस्तशिल्प और हथकरघा निगम लिमिटेड को 'हिम-क्राफ्ट' के रूप में पुनः ब्रांड करेगी।

इस संबंध में, राज्य सरकार के अधिकारियों ने बताया है कि ब्रांडिंग किसी भी उत्पाद के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है और नया ब्रांड नाम राज्य के कारीगरों और बुनकरों द्वारा बनाए गए सभी हस्तशिल्प और हथकरघा उत्पादों को बढ़ावा देने और ब्रांडिंग करने में मदद करेगा। आधिकारिक आदेश के अनुसार, इस कदम का उद्देश्य कारीगरों की आय में वृद्धि करना और आर्थिक विकास और अधिक वित्तीय स्थिरता के लिए उनके ग्राहक आधार का विस्तार करना है। इससे प्रामाणिकता सुनिश्चित होगी, वृद्धि होगीग्राहकों की संतुष्टि और राज्य के हस्तशिल्प और हथकरघा उत्पादों के प्रति विश्वास पैदा करना। इसके अलावा, नया व्यापार नाम बिजनेस कार्ड, लेटरहेड, ईमेल हस्ताक्षर और आधिकारिक वेबसाइट सहित सभी आधिकारिक दस्तावेजों में प्रतिबिंबित होगा, जिससे सभी हथकरघा और हस्तशिल्प उत्पादों को एक ही ब्रांड के तहत समेकित किया जाएगा। हिमाचल के कारीगरों द्वारा बनाए गए हथकरघा और हस्तशिल्प उत्पादों की घरेलू और अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारों में काफी मांग है। जी-20 के प्रतिनिधियों को उपहार देने के लिए 'हिम-क्राफ्ट' द्वारा बनाई गई कुछ स्मारिका वस्तुओं की व्यापक सराहना की गई। उल्लेखनीय है कि राज्य में बुनाई, कढ़ाई, लकड़ी की नक्काशी, धातु का काम, मिट्टी के बर्तन आदि की एक समृद्ध परंपरा है और ये पारंपरिक हस्तशिल्प पीढ़ियों से चले आ रहे हैं और समय के साथ आधुनिक तकनीकों और डिजाइनों को शामिल करते हुए विकसित हुए हैं।
