Bal Satra’ -A special session for children
- A special session for children ‘Bal Satra’ was organized on ‘World Day against Child Labour’ at Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, Shimla.
- 68 children, 43 of them girls, selected from seven states including Himachal Pradesh, participated in the special session for ‘Bal Vidhan Sabha’.
- The students performed the role assigned to them while exhibiting confidence and high level of awareness about issues confronting the state.
- Jahnavi, a class 10 student from a government school, a resident of Sundernagar in Mandi district, played the role of the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.
- There were also protests in the House as opposition MLAs (students) entered the well of the House to protest on the issue of drug problem.
- The CM, Vidhan Sabha Speaker, several ministers, MLAs and parents of the students witnessed the two-and-a-half hour proceedings
- Speaker Kuldeep Pathania said taking part in the Bal Vidhan Sabha was a lifetime experience for these 68 children who have been selected from 25,000 entries from nine states.
- The Vice-Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivash Narayan Singh was the guest of honour.
- Earlier this session was held in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.
बाल सत्र - बच्चों के लिए एक विशेष सत्र
- हिमाचल प्रदेश विधानसभा, शिमला में 'विश्व बाल श्रम निषेध दिवस' पर बच्चों के लिए एक विशेष सत्र 'बाल सत्र' का आयोजन किया गया।
- हिमाचल प्रदेश सहित सात राज्यों से चुने गए 68 बच्चों, जिनमें से 43 लड़कियाँ थीं, ने 'बाल विधान सभा' के विशेष सत्र में भाग लिया।
- छात्रों ने राज्य के सामने आने वाले मुद्दों के बारे में आत्मविश्वास और उच्च स्तर की जागरूकता का प्रदर्शन करते हुए उन्हें सौंपी गई भूमिका निभाई।
- मंडी जिले के सुंदरनगर की रहने वाली सरकारी स्कूल की 10वीं कक्षा की छात्रा जाहन्वी ने हिमाचल प्रदेश की मुख्यमंत्री की भूमिका निभाई।
- सदन में विरोध प्रदर्शन भी हुआ क्योंकि विपक्षी विधायक (छात्र) नशीली दवाओं की समस्या के मुद्दे पर विरोध करने के लिए सदन के वेल में आ गए।
- मुख्यमंत्री, विधानसभा अध्यक्ष, कई मंत्री, विधायक और छात्रों के माता-पिता ढाई घंटे की कार्यवाही के गवाह बने
- अध्यक्ष कुलदीप पठानिया ने कहा कि बाल विधान सभा में भाग लेना इन 68 बच्चों के लिए जीवन भर का अनुभव है, जिन्हें नौ राज्यों से 25,000 प्रविष्टियों में से चुना गया है।
- राज्यसभा के उपाध्यक्ष हरिवंश नारायण सिंह सम्मानित अतिथि थे.
- इससे पहले यह सत्र राजस्थान विधानसभा में आयोजित किया गया था.
