एचपी शिवा परियोजना
- हिमाचल प्रदेश उपोष्णकटिबंधीय बागवानी, सिंचाई और मूल्य संवर्धन (एचपी शिवा) परियोजना की परियोजना और ऋण समझौते पर भारत सरकार, एशियाई विकास बैंक (एडीबी) और राज्य सरकार के बीच हस्ताक्षर किए गए हैं।
- 1,292 करोड़ रुपये की इस परियोजना का लक्ष्य सात जिलों (बिलासपुर, हमीरपुर, कांगड़ा, मंडी, सोलन, सिरमौर और ऊना) में उपोष्णकटिबंधीय फलों जैसे संतरे, अमरूद, अनार आदि की खेती को बढ़ावा देना है, जिससे कृषि आय में वृद्धि होगी। गृहस्थी।
- यह परियोजना 'बीज से बाजार तक' अवधारणा पर आधारित है, जो उत्पादन-पूर्व से लेकर फसल कटाई के बाद के प्रबंधन तक की सभी गतिविधियों को जोड़ती है, जिसमें मूल्य श्रृंखला विकास और बाजार तक पहुंच शामिल है। यह परियोजना मूल्य श्रृंखला विकास के माध्यम से सुनिश्चित सिंचाई और बाजार पहुंच के साथ-साथ जलवायु-लचीले उपोष्णकटिबंधीय बागवानी वृक्षारोपण क्षेत्र का विस्तार करेगी।
- परियोजना का लक्ष्य कम से कम 15,000 कृषक परिवारों (इन परिवारों में लगभग 90,000 प्रत्यक्ष लाभार्थी) की आजीविका में सुधार करना है।
HP SHIVA Project
- An agreement has been signed between the Government of India, the Asian Development Bank and the state government on the lumpsum loan of the HP Shiva project.
- The project and loan agreement of Himachal Pradesh Subtropical Horticulture, Irrigation and Value Addition (HP SHIVA) project has been signed between the Government of India, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the state government.
- The Rs 1,292 crore project aims at boosting the cultivation of sub-tropical fruits like orange, guava, pomegranate, etc., in seven districts (Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kangra, Mandi, Solan, Sirmour and Una), thereby increasing the income of farm households.
- The project is based on ‘Beej Se Bazaar Tak’ concept, linking all activities from pre-production to post harvest management, including value chain development and access to market. The project will expand climate-resilient sub-tropical horticulture plantation area along with assured irrigation and market access through value chain development.
- The project aims at improving the livelihood of at least 15,000 farm households (around 90,000 direct beneficiaries in these households)
