केंद्र ने धर्मशाला में CUHP परिसर के लिए 57.10 हेक्टेयर को मंजूरी दी
- केंद्रीय पर्यावरण और वन मंत्रालय की अधिकार प्राप्त समिति ने हिमाचल प्रदेश के केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय (सीयूएचपी) के उत्तरी परिसर के निर्माण के लिए धर्मशाला विधानसभा क्षेत्र के जादरांगल क्षेत्र में 57.10 हेक्टेयर वनभूमि के हस्तांतरण को मंजूरी दे दी है।
ग्रेट हिमालयन नेशनल पार्क में व्याख्या केंद्र
- सैंज रोपा में ग्रेट हिमालयन नेशनल पार्क (जीएचएनपी) की सैंज घाटी में एक व्याख्या केंद्र विकसित किया गया है।
- यह जीएचएनपी में पाए जाने वाले वनस्पतियों और जीवों के बारे में जानकारी देता है।
- यह ऑर्किड और औषधीय पौधों के साथ-साथ पक्षियों और खूबसूरत जगहों पर केंद्रित होगा।
- सभी चार राज्य चिह्न - राज्य पक्षी, पश्चिमी ट्रैगोपन; राज्य पशु, हिम तेंदुआ; राजकीय फूल, गुलाबी रोडोडेंड्रोन; और राजकीय वृक्ष, देवदार- को उनके विवरणों के साथ प्रदर्शित किया गया है।
- इस यूनेस्को विश्व धरोहर स्थल में सभी चार राज्य चिह्न पाए जाते हैं।
Centre okays 57.10 hectares for CUHP campus in Dharamsala
- The empowered committee of the Union Ministry of Environment and Forest has cleared the transfer of 57.10 hectares of forestland in Jadrangal area of the Dharamsala Assembly constituency for the construction of the north campus of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP).
Interpretation centre at Great Himalayan National Park
- An Interpretation Centre has been developed in the Sainj valley of the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) at Sainj Ropa.
- It gives information about the flora and fauna found in the GHNP.
- It will focus on orchids and medicinal plants, along with birds and beautiful locations.
- All four state symbols — the state bird, Western tragopan; state animal, snow leopard; state flower, pink rhododendron; and state tree, deodar — have been showcased with their descriptions.
- All four state symbols are found in this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
