Jawali irrigation project
- Hanging fire for over 11 years, the ambitious Sukharhar medium irrigation project proposed by the then state government in the Jawali area of Kangra district in 2012 has been approved by the State Level Scheme Sanctioning Committee of the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yozna (PMKSY).
- The project had earlier been cleared by the State Technical Advisory Committee
- The committee accorded approval to the project to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 223.49 crore for inclusion under the scheme for the current fiscal year.
जवाली सिंचाई परियोजना
- 11 वर्षों से अधिक समय से लटकी हुई, 2012 में कांगड़ा जिले के जवाली क्षेत्र में तत्कालीन राज्य सरकार द्वारा प्रस्तावित महत्वाकांक्षी सुखारहर मध्यम सिंचाई परियोजना को प्रधान मंत्री कृषि सिंचाई योजना (पीएमकेएसवाई) की राज्य स्तरीय योजना मंजूरी समिति द्वारा मंजूरी दे दी गई है।
- इस परियोजना को पहले राज्य तकनीकी सलाहकार समिति ने मंजूरी दे दी थी
- समिति ने चालू वित्तीय वर्ष के लिए योजना के तहत शामिल करने के लिए 223.49 करोड़ रुपये की अनुमानित लागत से निर्मित होने वाली परियोजना को मंजूरी दे दी।
