State Commission for Water Cess on Hydropower Generation
- The state government today appointed Amitabh Awasthi, Secretary, Jal Shakti Department, as Chairman of the State Commission for Water Cess on Hydropower Generation.
- The three members, who had been appointed, are HM Dhareula, an engineer with the HP State Electricity Board, Arun Sharma and Joginder Singh.
- Awasthi and the three members shall hold office for three years or up to the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
जलविद्युत उत्पादन पर जल उपकर के लिए राज्य आयोग
- राज्य सरकार ने आज जलशक्ति विभाग के सचिव अमिताभ अवस्थी को जलविद्युत उत्पादन पर जल उपकर के लिए राज्य आयोग का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है।
- जिन तीन सदस्यों को नियुक्त किया गया था, उनमें एचएम धारेउला, एचपी राज्य बिजली बोर्ड के एक इंजीनियर, अरुण शर्मा और जोगिंदर सिंह शामिल हैं।
- अवस्थी और तीन सदस्य तीन साल या 65 वर्ष की आयु तक, जो भी पहले हो, पद पर बने रहेंगे।
Malana Dam
- National Disaster Response Force Rescuers reached Malana village to assist the authorities to open the flood gates of the dam that were jammed and led to overflowing of water and further cracked walls of the dams.
- Panic gripped the ancient village of Malana when the water from the 86-MW dam, across the Malana tributary of the Parvati River spilt over due to the malfunctioning of all four gates.
- Parvati River is a river in the Parvati Valley in Himachal Pradesh, that flows into the Beas River at Bhuntar, some 10 km south of Kullu.
मलाणा बांध
- राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रतिक्रिया बल के बचावकर्मी बांध के बाढ़ द्वारों को खोलने में अधिकारियों की सहायता करने के लिए मलाणा गांव पहुंचे, जो जाम थे और पानी का बहाव बढ़ गया था और बांधों की दीवारों में दरारें पड़ गई थीं।
- मलाणा के प्राचीन गांव में उस समय दहशत फैल गई जब पार्वती नदी की सहायक नदी मलाणा पर बने 86 मेगावाट के बांध के चारों द्वार खराब होने के कारण पानी नदी के ऊपर फैल गया।
- पार्वती नदी हिमाचल प्रदेश में पार्वती घाटी की एक नदी है, जो कुल्लू से लगभग 10 किमी दक्षिण में भुंतर में ब्यास नदी में बहती है।
