Filling up of vacant posts of Forest Guards, against direct quota on contract
basis.
Memo:
- In continuation to this office letter No. Ft.440-13/80(E-II) 2019 dated I 6.10.2019 and letter of even No. dated 21.10.2019 on the subject cited above.
- The Addl. Chief Secretary (Personnel) to the Go HP vide his letter No. PER(AP.B)(15)11/2018 dated 19.11.2019 (copy enclosed) has conveyed the decision of the Govt. that direct recruitment to various Class-III & IV posts/ services, where advertisements for filling up the posts have been issued but exams have not been conducted, may be withdrawn forthwith.
- In this department the process of filling up 113 No. posts of Forest Guards is going on, advertisement stand issued but exams are yet to be conducted. In view of the decision of the Government, you are requested to stop the recruitment process immediately. However, the recruitment to these posts will be advertised afresh in view of provisions of Himachal Pradesh Eligibility for Appointment to Class-III & Class-IV posts, Rules, 2019 issued vide 'Notification No. Per(AP_ -C-C(17)2-2018 dated 19.11.2019, for which directions will follow.
- Since, the process of recruitment initiated has now been stopped, necessary information to this effect may also be disseminated for the benefit of applicants through newspapers giving reference of advertisements issued earlier in this regard at your level.
