SSC Paper Leak: Four Arrested for SSC Paper Leak

Delhi Police and Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UP-STF) have arrested four people for the involvement in the online hacking of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exam. A joint raid was conducted by the UP police at a house in Timarpur and arrested four youths from there.

The four youths who were arrested are identified as Ajay Kumar, Gaurav, Sonu Singh and Param and they all are residents of Timarpur in North Delhi.

An FIR has been registered against the gang under the IT Act at Timarpur police station. After the arrests, police have recovered several important documents including a laptop, pen drive, hard disk, 10 mobile phones, three cars, and ₹51 lakh cash from their possession.

Police have confirmed that the people arrested under the scam used to conduct an online hacking of the Data Entry Operator exam conducted by the SSC. The gang has confirmed the involvement in the paper leak and said that they use to charge ₹10-15 lakh from each candidate for clearing the examination.

At the same time, the gang leader Harpal is decamped. According to the information, the gang leader is Harpal of Haryana who was operating this racket from his own house. For the exam, the gang took the help of about 150 salvors. This gang used to solve questions through the online app TeamViewer.

Students are frustrated about SSC paper leak and are coming to the streets continuously. Students also demanded CBI probe against this rigging. SSC has to cancel nine exams in full or partially in the last five years.
