- Q1. One problem was based on Time & work.
- Q2. Direction & Distance (1Qs).
- Q3. Vocabulary (3 Qs).
Technical Questions Asked in GATE EC 05 February 2017 - 2nd Slot
- Nyquist Plot (1 Qs)
- R-H Criteria. You have to find the value of k ?
- Laplace Transform (1 Qs).
- One question was based on finding the Average power of given function.
- Fourier Transform was given & you have you find y(t) by using final value theorem.
- State space diagram (2 Qs). Two equations were given & you have to find the value of natural frequency (Wn) and type of system. A) Over Damped B) Critical Damped C) Undamped D) Under Damped
- Current source (1 Numerical) ?
- Two different MOSFET are shown in the diagram containing current id1 & id2. Width of first MOSFET is twice the second one & you have to find the transconductance ?
- Uniformly doped P-N junction was given & based on that four different graph are given in the option. You have to find out which one shows the correct characteristics.
- Solar Cell (1 Qs).
- BJT Cascode Connection was given in the diagram & voltage gain was asked ?
- Waveguide (1 Qs) based on finding the Cut Off frequency of waveguide.
- EMFT, Diagram was given & you have to find the upper & lower cut off frequency.
- Programmable Logical Array (1Qs).
