Syllabus for Competitive Objective Type Screening Test for the post of Naib Tehsildar:-

Paper of two hours duration consisting of 120 marks (General Knowledge) (Objective type) in both English and Hindi language.

History, Geography and Socio-Economic development of Himachal Pradesh:- 30 Marks

Note: There will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for a wrong answer marked by a candidate in the objective-type question papers.

a. There are four alternatives for the answers to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty.
b. If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct and there will be the same penalty as above for that question.
c. If a question is left blank i.e. no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
5. There will be the following subjects for the (Main) competitive examination for direct recruitment to the post of Naib Tehsildar, Class-II (Gazetted) candidates. the question papers will be in both languages i.e. Hindi and English except language paper(s).
