Indian Post Gramin Dak Sevaks 2023 Age Limit:
- Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 Years as of closing date (23rd August 2023).
- The maximum age shall be relaxable by 03 years for OBC and 05 years for SC / ST Category Candidates. For PWD (PH) Candidates - Age Relaxation up to 10 years.

India Post GDS Eligibility Criteria 2023:
- Minimum Secondary School Examination pass / 10th Class (Matriculation) Pass in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) from any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/ State Governments/ Union Territories in India.
- Knowledge of computers.
- Compulsory knowledge of Local Language: The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard [as compulsory or elective subjects].
- Knowledge of Cycling: Knowledge of Cycling is a pre-requisite condition for all GDS posts.
Selection Process Indian Post Gramin Dak Sevak :
The selection process will be based on an automatically generated merit list, which follows the rules outlined in the candidate's online application. Higher educational qualifications will not be given any weightage, and only marks obtained in the 10th standard from approved boards will be considered. This will be aggregated to a percentage with an accuracy of 4 decimals. To be eligible for merit calculation, all subjects must be passed according to the respective board norms.
India Post GDS 2023 Application Fee:
- Rs.100/- for General and OBC category candidates. The applicants will pay the fee for all posts notified in the chosen Division.
- The fee can be made online only at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
- No fee for all female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PwD candidates and Transwomen candidates.

- The India Post GDS 2023 Online registration process started on 3rd August 2023.
- Eligible candidates who desire to apply online will have to register himself/herself in India Post GDS Online Portal (indiapostgdsonline.gov.in) with all basic details to obtain the Registration Number.
- Only one Registration is allowed for one candidate for schedules 1 & 2 in a calendar Year.
- The candidates are required to fill in basic details (Mobile Number, Email, Date of Birth, Community etc.) and upload relevant documents.
