Kangra Art Museum located in Dharamshala is seeing a lot of tourists these days.
- Around 3288 Indians, 78 foreign tourists and 85 children visited the Dharamshala Art Museum in the month of May to learn about the Kangra culture and ancient secrets.
- With this, till June 15, 2596 tourists from different states of India and 36 foreign tourists arrived at the Dharamshala Art Museum.
- In comparison to the last few years, there has been an increase of 30 to 40 percent tourists in this tourist season.
- The 19th century Bhagwat Gita, Kangra couple traditional costumes, Tibetan couple traditional costumes, Gaddi couple traditional costumes and old paintings of Kangra district have also been established in this art museum, which remains the center of attraction in the present times.
Kareri lake
- In a joint effort, the teams of the Kangra police and the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) rescued 26 people, including tourists, who were stranded near the Kareri Lake, in Kangra district, due to heavy rain.
- Kareri Lake is at elevation 2,934 metres (9,626 ft) above the sea level.
- Snow melting from the Dhauladhar range serves as the source of the lake and a stream, Nyund is the outflow.
धर्मशाला स्थित कांगड़ा कला संग्रहालय में इन दिनों पर्यटकों की भरमार देखने को मिल रही है।
- मई महीने में करीब 3288 भारतीय, 78 विदेशी पर्यटक और 85 बच्चों ने धर्मशाला कला संग्रहालय पहुंचकर कांगड़ा संस्कृति और प्राचीनतम रहस्यों के बारे में जाना।
- इसके साथ 15 जून तक धर्मशाला कला संग्रहालय में 2596 भारत के अगल-अलग राज्यों से थे तथा 36 विदेशी पर्यटक पहुंचे।
- पिछले कुछ सालों के मुकाबले इस पर्यटक सीजन में 30 से 40 प्रतिशत सैलानी बढ़ गए हैं।
- संग्रहालय में इस कला संग्रहालय में 19वीं शताब्दी की भागवत गीता, कांगड़ा युगल पारंपरिक वेशभूषा, तिब्बती युगल पारंपरिक वेशभूषा, गद्दी युगल पारंपरिक वेशभूषा व कांगड़ा जिला की पुरानी चित्रकारी भी स्थापित की गई है, जो कि वर्तमान समय में आकर्षण का केंद्र बनी हुई है।
करेरी झील
- एक संयुक्त प्रयास में, कांगड़ा पुलिस और राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (एसडीएमए) की टीमों ने भारी बारिश के कारण कांगड़ा जिले में करेरी झील के पास फंसे पर्यटकों सहित 26 लोगों को बचाया।
- करेरी झील समुद्र तल से 2,934 मीटर (9,626 फीट) की ऊंचाई पर है।
- धौलाधार पर्वतमाला से पिघलने वाली बर्फ झील और एक जलधारा के स्रोत के रूप में कार्य करती है, न्युंद इसका बहिर्वाह है।
