Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized institution /Board.
- Candidates have a course in Computer Application from a recognized institution (One Year Duration).
Other Rules :
- The candidates should be of sound mind and good physical health.
- The candidate should not have any criminal record.
- The candidate should not have any outstanding dues payable to the state Govt. or the Gram Panchayat.
- The candidate should not have been disqualified under any law for the time being in force from holding any office under the Govt.

Educational Qualification for Gram Rojgar Sewak (GRS) Recruitment 2023:
| 1. Percentage (%) of marks got in 10+2% age divided by 2) | Subject to a maximum of 50 marks |
| 2. Percentage (%) of marks in Commerce/ Economics/Math divided by 20 for candidates having one subject in 10+2 | Subject to a maximum of 5 marks |
| 3. Percentage (%) of marks in Bachelor Degree divided by 20 | Subject to a maximum of 5 marks |
| 4. Having a basic course in computer application (one-year duration) | Subject to a maximum of 12 marks |
| 5. (Two marks shall be awarded for every one year of experience in the relevant nature of duties in any Panchayati Raj Institution, RDD/Watershed Project/Government undertaking Institution or experience of working as a computer operator in any institution. | Subject to a maximum of 10 marks |
| 6. In case of the candidate is a resident of the concerned Block | 5 marks |
| 7. In case of candidate belongs to the category of a scheduled caste or scheduled tribes or other backward classes | 5 marks |
| 8. In case the candidate belongs to a BPL Family | 5 marks |
| 9. Handicapped (Not less than 40%) | 3 marks. |
