IIT Mandi JRF Recruitment 2021 Vacancies Detail:
The project entitled “Development of Perovskite/Organic Solar Cell Technology to Harvest Wide Range of Solar/Indoor Light Spectrum” at IIT Mandi, with a salary maximum of up to Rs. 15,000/- to 40,000/- per month consolidated. (On the subject to qualification and experience)
IIT Mandi JRF Fellowship/Salary:
The selected candidate will be appointed as Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate-I for the above project sponsored project in the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering, IIT Mandi.
Duration:
The appointment will be made initially for a period of 1 Year, further extension based on the performance/project extension/extend. Additional information: *** Deserving candidate may have the opportunity to join MS or Ph.D. at IIT Mandi as full-time/part-time on the subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria and satisfactory performance as per Institute norms.
Educational Qualification for IIT Mandi JRF Recruitment 2021
- Potential candidates should have B. Tech ECE/ EE/Instrumentation or MS or M. Tech. in Electronics Science/Physics/Material Science (with valid NET or GATE score preferable) or equivalent degree with 70% marks.
- Desirable Qualification:-
- Good knowledge of solid-state device physics.
- Experimental hand on thin film preparation and device fabrications.
- Knowledge of solar cells, photodetectors, and LEDs is desirable.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as MATLAB or C++ is also required (but not compulsory).

- The PI & Co-PI reserve the right to conduct or not conduct interviews for the post. The Screening Committee may fix higher criteria for shortlisting the candidates and the date of the online interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidate only.
- PI & Co-PIs reserve the right to fill up the post, not to fill up the post or cancel the advertisement in whole or part without assigning any reason. The PI & Co-PIs will also reserve the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates as per the requirement of the nature of the project job to be called for an interview without any further clarifications/justifications at any level. The decision of the project PIs in this regard will be final.
