Eligibility Criteria for Himachal Pradesh Forest Guard Jobs 2021
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Aspiring candidates must have the following qualification or its equivalent from the Government certified Board or Institutions.
- 12th pass/ 10+2 pass
AGE LIMIT (as of 01.01.2021):-
- For general category candidates, the minimum age should be 18 years and a maximum of 30 years as on the above-specified cutoff date.
- Upper age relaxation will be applicable for Reserved Categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PH, Ex-Serviceman, etc. as per the State Government Norms.

HP Forest Guard Vacancies 2021 – Selection Process
About Selection Criteria: At last, most eligible young candidates will be appointed based on their overall performance in the following selection procedures:-
- Physical Efficiency Test (Qualifying in Nature):
- PET will have a 100 meter Race, 800 meter Race, High Jump, and Long Jump.
- Written Test (85 marks):
- There will be 85 objective-type questions (MCQs).
- The written examination consists of topics like General Knowledge, Reasoning & Aptitude, General Science, General English/ Hindi, and General Information about Himachal Pradesh Forests, Environment & Animals.
- There will be no negative marks in the written exam.
- The question paper will be in bilingual language (Hindi & English Language).
- The written exam's total time duration will be of around 75 minutes.
