गोएयर ने संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के लिए सेवाओं के विस्तार की घोषणा की
- बजट वाहक गोएयर ने गुरुवार को मुंबई, दिल्ली, कोच्चि और कन्नूर से शारजाह के लिए नई उड़ानों की शुरूआत के साथ संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के लिए अपनी सेवाओं के विस्तार की घोषणा की।
- वर्तमान में, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के लिए उड़ानों को एक एयर बबल समझौते के तहत संचालित किया जाता है, क्योंकि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वाणिज्यिक उड़ानें भारत से और सी -19 महामारी के मद्देनजर 23 मार्च से निलंबित हैं।

भारतीय वायु सेना ने ई-गोवर्धन (ई-कार्यालय) PAN IAF की स्थापना की
- वायु सेना प्रमुख, एयर चीफ मार्शल आरकेएस भदौरिया पीवीएसएम एवीएसएम वीएम एडीसी ने वायुसेना मुख्यालय, वायु भवन में 31 दिसंबर 20 को वायुसेना ई-गवर्नेंस (ई-ऑफिस) पोर्टल को औपचारिक रूप से लॉन्च किया। कार्यान्वयन को डिजिटल इंडिया और के रूप में शुरू किया गया। ई-गवर्नेंस पहल संपूर्ण भारतीय वायु सेना को 'पेपरलेस ऑफिस' वर्कफ़्लो में बदल देगी।
- भारतीय वायुसेना में ई-गवर्नेंस की शुरूआत डिजिटल माध्यम से पत्राचार, फाइलिंग और प्रलेखन की वर्तमान पद्धति से एक प्रतिमान बदलाव है। प्लेटफ़ॉर्म का उपयोग, पारदर्शिता, बेहतर दक्षता, जवाबदेही में वृद्धि, डेटा अखंडता और तेज़ी से सुलभ अभिलेखागार के साथ-साथ कागज के उपयोग में बड़ी कमी को प्राप्त करेगा।
कृषि मंत्रालय ने वर्चुअल एग्री-हैकथॉन आत्मानिबर कृषि का उद्घाटन किया
- केंद्रीय कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्री, नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने IARI, पूसा, नई दिल्ली के साथ मिलकर कृषि और सहकारिता और किसान कल्याण विभाग द्वारा आयोजित वर्चुअल एग्री-हैकथॉन 2020 का उद्घाटन किया।
- इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए, नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने कहा कि एग्री इंडिया हैकथॉन संवाद बनाने और नवाचारों में तेजी लाने के लिए सबसे बड़ी आभासी सभा है।
ओडिशा सरकार ने 'शहीदों' कोविद 19 योद्धाओं के लिए स्मारक की योजना बनाई
- मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक ने गुरुवार को सी -19 योद्धाओं के लिए राज्य की राजधानी में एक स्मारक बनाने की योजना की घोषणा की, जिन्होंने अपने जीवन को कर्तव्य की पंक्ति में रखा।
- मुख्यमंत्री ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंस के माध्यम से पांच जिलों के शहीद C-19 योद्धाओं के परिवार के सदस्यों के साथ चर्चा के दौरान यह घोषणा की। शहीद योद्धाओं के परिवार के सदस्यों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करते हुए, नवीन ने कहा कि अपनी जान गंवाने वालों के नाम स्मारक में उनकी स्मृति को जीवित रखने के लिए अंकित किए जाएंगे।
भारत ने अमेरिका को मोरिंगा पाउडर का पहला शिपमेंट निर्यात किया
- वाणिज्य मंत्रालय ने गुरुवार को कहा कि भारत ने अपनी बढ़ती वैश्विक मांग और पोषण गुणों को ध्यान में रखते हुए मोरिंगा पाउडर का निर्यात शुरू किया है।
- “दो टन जैविक प्रमाणित मोरिंगा पाउडर को 29 दिसंबर को हवाई खेप के माध्यम से अमेरिका भेजा गया था।
दिसंबर में प्रदूषण का स्तर पिछले चार वर्षों में सबसे कम: CPCB
- केंद्रीय प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड (CPCB) के अनुसार, दिल्ली में इस दिसंबर में प्रदूषण का स्तर पिछले चार वर्षों में सबसे कम था।
- दिसंबर के लिए औसत वायु गुणवत्ता सूचकांक (AQI) 308 पर रहा। यह पिछले साल 337 था, 2018 में 360 और 2017 में 316, था।
- इस दिसंबर में 2019, 2018 और 2017 में क्रमशः सात, चार और नौ के मुकाबले 10 "खराब" वायु दिन थे।

श्री सुनीत शर्मा रेलवे बोर्ड के नए अध्यक्ष और सीईओ का कार्यभार संभाला
- श्री सुनीत शर्मा, भारत सरकार के नए अध्यक्ष और मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (सीईओ), रेलवे बोर्ड (रेल मंत्रालय) और पदेन प्रमुख सचिव का पदभार संभाल चुके हैं। मंत्रिमंडल की नियुक्ति समिति ने रेलवे बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष और सीईओ के रूप में श्री सुनीत शर्मा की नियुक्ति को मंजूरी दे दी है। इससे पहले, श्री सुनीत शर्मा ने पूर्व रेलवे के महाप्रबंधक के रूप में काम किया था।
- श्री सुनीत शर्मा 1979 में एक विशेष श्रेणी के प्रशिक्षु के रूप में भारतीय रेलवे में शामिल हुए, जब वे आईआईटी कानपुर में इंजीनियरिंग की पढ़ाई कर रहे थे। मैकेनिकल और इलेक्ट्रिकल इंजीनियरिंग में स्नातक उनके पास विभिन्न क्षमताओं में भारतीय रेलवे में 40 से अधिक वर्षों का अनुभव है।

केनरा बैंक ने बॉन्ड के माध्यम से 1,635 करोड़ रुपए जुटाए
- राज्य के स्वामित्व वाले केनरा बैंक ने गुरुवार को कहा कि उसने बॉन्ड के माध्यम से 1,635 करोड़ रुपये जुटाए हैं, जिससे व्यापार में वृद्धि होगी।
- बैंक ने एक बयान में कहा कि पूंजी को 31 दिसंबर को 8.50 प्रतिशत कूपन पर अतिरिक्त टियर -1 बॉन्ड जारी करके जुटाया गया था।
- फंड जुटाने से बैंक को अपनी पूंजी पर्याप्तता अनुपात को बढ़ावा देने में मदद मिलेगी।
जुबिलेंट फूडवर्क्स बार्बेक्यू नेशन में 10% हिस्सेदारी खरीदने खरीदी
- जुबिलेंट फूडवर्क्स लिमिटेड, Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd (BNHL) में 10.76% हिस्सेदारी खरीदने के लिए 92 करोड़ का निवेश करेगी, जो रेस्तरां के लोकप्रिय Barbeque Nation (BBQ) श्रृंखला को चलाता है।

GoAir announces expansion of services to United Arab Emirates
- Budget carrier GoAir on Thursday announced the expansion of its services to the UAE with the launch of new flights to Sharjah from Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi, and Kannur.
- Currently, flights to the UAE are operated under an Air Bubble Agreement since international commercial flights to and from India remain suspended from March 23 in the wake of the C-19 pandemic.

INDIAN AIR FORCE LAUNCHES E-GOVERNANCE (E-OFFICE) PAN IAF
- The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria PVSM AVSM VM ADC formally launched the IAF e-Governance (e-Office) portal at Air HQ, Vayu Bhavan on 31 Dec 20. The implementation undertaken as part of Digital India and the e-governance initiative will transition the entire Indian Air Force to a ‘paperless office’ workflow.
- The launch of e-Governance in IAF marks a paradigm shift from the current method of correspondence, filing, and documentation to a digital one. The platform would achieve enhanced transparency, improved efficiency, increased accountability, assured data integrity, and rapidly accessible archives along with a major reduction in the use of paper.
Agriculture Ministry inaugurates virtual Agri-hackathon Atmanirbhar Krishi
- Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated the Virtual Agri-hackathon 2020 organized by the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation and Farmers’ Welfare in association with IARI, Pusa, New Delhi.
- Speaking on the occasion, Narendra Singh Tomar said that Agri India Hackathon is the largest virtual gathering to create dialogues and accelerate innovations.
Odisha govt plans memorial for 'martyrs' C-19 warriors
- Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday announced plans to build a memorial in the State Capital for the C-19 warriors who laid their lives in the line of duty.
- The Chief Minister made this announcement during a discussion with family members of martyred C-19 warriors of five districts through video conference. Expressing his gratitude to the family members of martyred warriors, Naveen said names of those who lost their lives will be inscribed in the memorial to keep their memory alive.
India exports the first shipment of moringa powder to the US
- India has started exports of Moringa powder, keeping in mind its rising global demand and nutritional properties, the commerce ministry said on Thursday.
- "Two tonnes of organic certified Moringa powder were sent to the US through air consignment on December 29.
Delhi's air quality in December best in 4 years: CPCB
- Pollution levels in Delhi this December were the lowest in the last four years, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
- The average air quality index (AQI) for December stood at 308. It was 337 last year, 360 in 2018, and 316 in 2017, the CPCB data showed.
- The capital recorded four "severe" air quality days this December as compared to eight each in 2019 and 2018 and one in 2017.
- There were 10 "poor" air days this December as against seven, four, and nine in 2019, 2018, and 2017, respectively.

Shri Suneet Sharma takes over the charge of new Chairman & CEO of Railway Board
- Shri SuneetSharma has taken over the charge of new Chairman & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Railway Board (Ministry of Railways), and ex-officio Principal Secretary to Government of India. The appointments committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Suneet Sharma as Chairman & CEO of Railway Board. Before this, Shri Suneet Sharma worked as General Manager, Eastern Railway.
- Shri Suneet Sharma joined the Indian Railways in 1979 as a Special Class Apprentice while he was studying engineering at IIT Kanpur. A graduate in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering he has more than 40 years of experience serving in the Indian Railways in various capacities.

Canara Bank Raises Rs 1,635 Crore Via Bonds
- State-owned Canara Bank on Thursday said it has raised Rs 1,635 crore through bonds, to fund business growth.
- The capital was raised by issuing additional tier-1 bonds at an 8.50 percent coupon on December 31, the bank said in a statement.
- The fundraising will help the bank boost its capital adequacy ratio.
Jubilant FoodWorks to buy 10% stake in Barbeque Nation
- Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd will invest ₹92 crores to buy a 10.76% stake in Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd (BNHL), which runs the popular Barbeque Nation (BBQ) chain of restaurants.
- “The company will acquire 36,50,794 fully paid-up equity shares of the face value of ₹5 each aggregating to 10.76% stake in BNHL,” Jubilant FoodWorks, which operates the Domino’s Pizza chain and the Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and doughnut chain in India, said in a regulatory filing on Thursday. The all-cash deal is expected to conclude by 25 January.
RBI to conduct simultaneous sale-purchase of govt securities on Jan 7
- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will conduct simultaneous purchase and sale of government securities under open market operations (OMOs) for Rs 10,000 crore each on January 7.
- The decision was taken after a review of current liquidity and financial conditions, the RBI said in a statement.
- Eligible participants should submit their bids in electronic format on RBI's core banking solution (E-Kuber) system between 10 and 11 am on January 7.
