  • ISRO Chairman K Sivan has been conferred with Doctor of Science honorary doctorate at Visvesvaraya Technological University under Government of Karnataka
  • The honour was presented to the ISRO Chief by Karnataka’s Governor Vajubhai Vala.
  • K Sivan is an Indian space scientist and is current Secretary (Space) and ex-officio chairman of ISRO and Space Commission.
  • He has previously served as Director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Center and the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre.
