1. Arvind Kejriwal sworn in as Chief Minister of Delhi

  • Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal was sworn in as Delhi chief minister for the third time in New Delhi.
  • Delhi lieutenant governor Anil Baijal administers the oath of office to Arvind Kejriwal at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi.
  • Kejriwal's AAP won 62 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won eight seats.

  • The Ghaziabad police have launched ‘Operation Nakail’ under which the identity of all auto-rickshaw drivers will be verified, and a unique four-digit number will be allotted to them.
