A fair idea of the exam cutoff of IBPS PO is important as it will help you identify the minimum number of safe attempts from the individual sections as well as the overall exam in upcoming exams. In this post, we have IBPS PO Prelims, Mains as well as Final Cutoff for the year 2018, 2017 and 2016. Let us first understand a few things about IBPS PO Cutoff score, then we will go through IBPS PO cut off 2018, 2017, 2016 of IBPS PO Exam.
What is IBPS PO Cut off Score?
The cutoff score of IBPS PO is the minimum score that the candidates need to score at the sectional as well as overall exam level, in order to qualify the exam and to be eligible for the next phase.
How is IBPS PO Cut off applied?
- The cutoff marks of IBPS PO are applied at 2 levels, namely individual sections and overall exam. Candidates need to secure a minimum score in each section as well as the overall exam (both prelims and mains phase) in order to qualify them.
- The cutoff scores are decided by IBPS based on various parameters such as exam level, number of vacancies etc.
- The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions are normalized using the equi-percentile method. Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations.
