This Year IBPS has introduced the sectional timing in prelims exam following the footprint of SBI. Therefore it is expected that the difficulty level of IBPS PO Prelims Paper will also be somehow similar to SBI PO. Quantitative Aptitude Analysis for IBPS PO Prelims Exam 14 October 2018 - Slot 2

This shift of Quantitative Aptitude section in the was difficult. In the first shift there were only two sets of data interpretation but in the second shift there were three: Line Graph, Caselet and Tabular DI. Line graph Data Interpretation was do-able whereas the other two sets were lengthy.Quadratic equation and Quantity Based questions were not asked in this shift.

  2. Data Interpretation - Pie Chart - 5 Qs.
    • Topic Details: Two graphs were there. One was a mixed graph and other was Pie Chart. In Mixed graph: Total Votes as per the candidates were given in Line chart whereas how many candidates won how much votes were given in table form. In Pe Chart: there were total 14,400 chocolates. They were distribution among students A, B, C, D, and E.
  3. Quadratic equation - 5 Qs.
  4. Word Problem -15 Qs.
  5. Table + Double graph - 5 Qs.

English Analysis for IBPS PO Prelims Exam 14 October 2018 - Slot 2

As expected, English Language section was twisted & the level of paper was Moderate to Difficult compared to the other two sections asked in IBPS PO Prelims.
Questions asked in comparison with the previous shift. In this shift there were around 5 question of match the following type similar to the one asked in English Language Section of SBI PO Pre 2018.
  • Reading Comprehension - 6 Qs. Topic was "Digital Banking".. 2 questions were asked from Synonyms and Antonyms.
  • Cloze test - 5 Qs.
  • Single Filter - 5 Qs.
  • Reading Comprehension - 6 Qs.
  • Sentence rEarrangements - 4 Qs.
  • Word Replacement - 5 Qs.
  • Papa Jumble - 4 Qs. 06 sentences need to be arranged. Topic: Competition Coaching

Reasoning Ability Analysis for IBPS PO Prelims Exam 14 October 2018 - Slot 2

The level of Reasoning Ability section asked in IBPS PO Prelims 2018 was Moderate. Coding decoding, Inequality was not asked in this shift
  1. Puzzles & Seating Arrangement - 20 Questions - 04 puzzles were asked.
    1. Linear Arrangement  - One row with north and south facing people. 8 persons were seated in a row. 
    2. Box Based puzzle: 5 questions were asked. 11 boxes need to be arranged.
    3. Circular Arrangement- 10 persons were seated in a circle facing centre.
    4. Scheduling: 5 persons and 5 days need to be arraned. They were doing some performances like yga, dancing, painting, etc.
  2. Code Decode (Jumble based coding) - 5 Qs.
  3. Direction - 4 Qs
  4. Syllogism - 5 Qs.
