SSC GD Constable 2018: Last Date for Application Extended
The new website of the Commission was running slow, consequent to which some candidates reported inconvenience in submitting their online application forms. Therefore, keeping in view the difficulties faced by some candidates, the Competent Authority, has, in the overall interest of the candidates, decided to extend the closing date for filling up of online application forms for the GD Constable examination from 17-09-2018 to 30-09-2018 (5.00 PM).

SSC GD Constable 2018 Notification 2018 has been released on 21st July 2018 on the official website by the Commission. Candidates will be distributed to multiple posts as Constables in BSF, CISF, CRPF etc. according to their eligibility once they crack the exam successfully. SSC GD Constable 2018 will be conducted to recruit eligible candidates to the post of General Duty.
The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination. The date of examination is not mentioned in the official notification and is to be notified later.
