  • Earlier, the main examination includes computer and reasoning subjects as different sections, but this year they have combined them together in a single section.
  • So, there is an increment in a number of questions and the marks distribution also.
  • Earlier 40-40 questions were asked from General Awareness and Reasoning, but this year 50 questions will be asked in both the papers.
  • The time duration for attending reasoning paper has been increased by 15 minutes. Earlier it was just 30 minutes on 40 questions. This time it has been allotted 45 minutes to handle 50 questions.

IBPS Clerk Scores and Cut-offs:

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered for further process. Depending on number of the State/ UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment. Prior to the completion of provisional allotment process scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates. MARKS OBTAINED IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING.

STAGE 3: IBPS Clerk Language Proficiency Test

The candidates will undergo Language Proficiency Test, where the participating organizations will verify the proficiency of candidates in the local language of the concerned state or union territory, i.e. the candidates should be able to read, write as well as speak the concerned local language. Under this test, the candidates may be asked to write down a passage or asked a few questions in the local language.

Participating organizations of IBPS Clerk can also cancel the candidature of the candidates who fail to qualify this exam. But, why?

  • Bank Clerks serve as the first point of contact sought by customers for inquiries and guidance. So, don't expect that you can do your work by not uttering a word!

STAGE 4: IBPS Clerk Document Verification

The document verification is the final round. The authenticity of the information provided in the application form is checked in this stage. That is the reason it is extremely important to fill the application with precaution and avoid regret at the final stage.
It is important to keep all the original documents in order. Some of the essentials include:
  • Selection Letter/Call Letter
  • Online Application form printout
  • Date of Birth proof
