IBPS RRB Officer Scale-1 Prelims Exam Analysis:  Dear Aspirants, as you all know IBPS is start conducting the RRB PO Exam ( Officer Scale -1 ) Prelims 2018 Exam & today is the 1st day of IBPS RRB PO Prelims Examination 2018 and here we are providing you the Detailed Exam Review of IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Prelims Exam Analysis 11th August 2018 - Shift 1. The Exam for RRB PO will be held in total 4 slots. 

IBPS RRB Officer Scale-1 Prelims Overall Exam Analysis

The overall exam was of an Easy-Moderate level, this was a major relief to all the aspirants but this also means that the number of attempts will go high. There were no major changes in this shift and the level and types of questions asked were similar to previous shifts.

As per the exam syllabus and pattern for IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I Examination, there were 80 questions in total. Each question carried 1 mark and the total time to solve the paper was 45 minutes.

IBPS RRB Officer Pre Exam Analysis for Quant Section

In the quantitative aptitude section of IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I, the level of the questions asked in were ranged from Moderate but a bit calculative Level. 

Questions were asked from the miscellaneous part - the arithmetic word problems. There were no direct questions on approximation but around 4-5 questions of arithmetic were based on approximation.

Following types of DIs were asked in this shift:

• Caselet, data related to the number of persons in a union was given
• Bar Graph, no. of tigers in different years and parks
• Line Graph, 2 stores data related to kids and adult stores was given  in 2 lines P and Q

The level of reasoning was not difficult. Aspirants who have done proper practice and time management can score in reasoning easily. Following are the types of Puzzles and Seating Arrangement asked in the 1st shift of IBPS RRB Officer Scale I 2018 Exam:

• Linear 2 Parallel Rows, 14 people were to be arranged 
• Circular Seating Arrangement, 5 people were facing towards the center and 3 people were facing outside 
• Day Based (Mon to Fri) Scheduling Puzzle, Movies in different time 
• Linear Seating Arrangement, 24 persons in a single row (Number of people was to be calculated) 
• Height Comparison based short puzzle - 3 questions 
• Box-based puzzle
