SSC CHSL Tier-II Exam Analysis: SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam was conducted today i.e 15th July 2018. SSC conducts Descriptive Paper to test your Proficiency in writing skills. The is an offline Pen & Paper based exam mean to test you on how you construct your ideas and opinions on Certain Topics and to test you how active does your brain works. SSC CHSL Tier-II Exam Highlights
- The Exam was conducted in only one shift i.e. 11 am to 12 Noon.
- SSC provided the sheet in which blocks were given. Students had to write one word in a block.
- Answer sheet was given to students consisting of 12 pages and each page consisted of four columns and 14 rows.

All the Candidates who Qualified Tier I have Appeared in SSC CHSL II Exam, there are mainly two components of descriptive Paper :
- Essay Writing - 01 Questions - 50 Marks
- Letter Writing - 01 Questions - 50 Marks
- Total Time : 01 Hour or 60 Minutes
SSC CHSL Tier-II (Descriptive) Exam Analysis:

1. Letter asked in SSC CHSL Tier III - Word limit – 200 / Marks – 50
- You are Mahima / Jaspreet, a resident of Lodhi Road New Delhi. Write a letter to your younger brother Tinku convincing him that if he has to make a good career for himself, he should take away his attention from other diversion & concentrate on study only.
2. Essay asked in SSC CHSL Tier III - Word limit – 250 / Marks – 50
Topic – Write an Essay on “Old age & social security“.
- There was no choice given and students were required to answer both the questions.
- Blue/Black both pens were allowed.
- The exam was for a one-hour duration from 11 am to 12
- Answer sheet was given to students consisting of 12 pages and each page consisted of four columns and 14 rows.
- There was the strict command to follow word limit and you could exceed only 10% of the word limit.
SSC CHSL Tier II- Descriptive Paper Final Review
- The Exam duration of the Pen & Paper mode is 01 hour
- The Exam duration of the Pen & Paper mode is 01 hour 20 Minute (For Candidate with VH/OH Afflicted by cerebral palsy, OH with a deformity in Writing hand).
- This Paper has been introduced to check you active presence, Writing Skill and choice of words which you make. the paper consists Of and Essay of 200-250 Words and letter/ Application writing of approximately 150-200 Words.
- The minimum Qualifying Marks in tier II is 33 Percent,
- The performance in Tier II would be included for preparing merit.
- You have to write the paper either in Hindi or in English.
- A paper written in Hindi and Part in English will not be evaluated
