BOB PO 2018 Exam Analysis : Dear Aspirants, Today Bank of Baroda has conducted the Online Examination for the BOB Manipal PO 2018 PGCBF course. The exam has to be conducted in two shifts and as the first shift is over now we are here to give you the detailed analysis of Bank of Baroda PO Exam held in first shift. BOB Manipal PO 2018 First Shift Exam Timing : 9:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m

BOB Manipal PO 2018 Exam Pattern:

  • The Online written examination consist of four subjects based on objective type given below along with descriptive paper. As soon as the time duration for objective test completes the descriptive paper will start on your screen. you have to type the answers with the help of keyboard.
  • The Time duration for objective type test is 02 Hours 30 minutes and for descriptive test is 30 minutes. The exam is of total 250 marks including descriptive Test. Negative marking is also applied on each wrong answer.

Overall the level of the examination was Moderate.

English Language (Moderate)

English section was of moderate level, the questions asked in this section were of the conventional pattern of banking examinations. Catching up on the trend of number of questions set up by this year's SBI Exam, in today's BOB PO exam's English section the reading comprehension had a set of 7 questions out of which 2 were related to vocabulary. General/Economy/Banking Awareness (Difficult)

This section was of Difficult level when compared with the rest of the sections of the objective test. Most of the question in GA section were from banking and economic awareness. Most of the current affairs questions were covered from the news of April and May 2018. There were few question of static awareness as well.

Descriptive Writing (Easy-Moderate)

The Descriptive writing test of English Language was of 30 marks and had 2 questions- Essay and Letter Writing. 2 choices each for Essay and Letter Writing questions were given out which a candidate had to choose 1 for Essay and 1 for Letter.

Letter Writing: Word Limit (150 words)

1. Write a letter to the editor of a newspaper expressing your concern over the impact of paid news.
2. Recently the results of 10th board exams were released.  Your friend's son who appeared in the examination has scored good overall marks but average in science. Your friend wants his son to choose the science stream against his wish. Write a letter to your friend convincing and guiding him to allow his son choose the right stream after class 10th.

Essay Writing: Word Limit (150 words)

1. Keeping animals in zoo is like keeping them in prison for our pleasure.
