English Language Questions Asked in SBI Clerk Prelims

  1. Reading Comprehension:  Topic was based on delegation of managers. 04 questions were based on passage and 2 questions were of antonyms and synonyms. 
  2. Sentence Rearrangement:  Conventional para jumble was asked under this. In this students were required to rearrange 6 sentences to form a meaningful paragraph.
  3. Error Spotting - Old pattern error spotting was asked in which candidates needed to find the incorrect part of the sentence.
  4. Sentence Improvement - A part of the sentence was highlighted. Students were required to select the most correct one out of the options provided.
  5. Fill in the blanks - Single Fillers were asked.

Quantitative Aptitude Questions Asked in SBI Clerk Prelims 

  1. Simplification: If you are well-versed with the concepts of BODMAS, squares, cubes and square roots, attempting questions of this topic is very easy and less time-taking.
  2. Number Series - Wrong pattern number series were asked. Following number series questions were asked :

  6. A can do a piece of work in 48 days. After working for 18 days A left and remaining work is completed by B in 18 3/4 days. B alone can complete the full work in?

    (b) Puzzles: There are more than 4 boxes between R and T. W kept immediately above X. S kept in one of the box above V. There are 2 boxes between R & S. There are 3 Boxes U and V.
  2. Order and Ranking - 3 questions were asked which was of the easy level.
