P&H High Court Recruitment 2018 – Eligibility Criteria
A. Age Limit (1st January 2018)
Minimum Age – 18 yearsMaximum Age (General) – 37 yearsMaximum Age (OBC/BC) – 4o yearsMaximum Age (OBC/BC) – 42 years
Maximum Age (Candidate who are already in Service in Govt./ Semi/PSU) – 45 years

B. Educational Qualification
- You should have Bachelors Degree in Arts/Science/Computer/Commerce or equivalent thereto from a recognized University.
- He/She should have passed Matriculation Examination with Hindi/Punjabi as one of the compulsory subjects.
- You must have Proficiency in Computer Operations (Word Processing and Spread Sheets).
Punjab & Haryana High Court Exam Pattern & Selection Process
The selection process includes 3 stages:

- Written Examination
- Computer Proficiency Test
- Checking of Original Testimonials/Interaction
Written Examination
- The High Court Recruitment Board will conduct Written Test which will be Objective in nature.
- This exam will have two papers – General Knowledge & English Composition.
- If you qualify in the General Knowledge Paper, only then English Composition Paper will be evaluated.
- The Minimum Qualifying Percentage for each section will be 33%.
- While the Aggregate Minimum Qualifying Percentage will be 40%.
- For each wrong answer, there will be deduction of 1/4th of the marks allotted to that question.
- Marks obtained in the Written Exam will be considered in the preparation of Final Merit List.
The distribution of marks for both papers will be as follows:

Computer Proficiency Test
- If you qualify the Written Exam, you will be called for Computer Proficiency Test.
- This test will be qualifying in nature.
- This test will have two parts – Word Processing Test (Speed of 30 W.P.M. in English) & Computer Proficiency Test.
Checking of Original Testimonials / Interaction
- If you qualify Computer Proficiency Test, you will be called for Checking of Original Testimonials/Interaction.
- The Final Merit List will be prepared on the basis of Marks obtained in Written Examination.
