This year Railway Recruitment Board has umpteen number of job offers for Railway Aspirants. In beginning it came with 90,000 vacancies in various posts to meet the employment needs of aspirants across the country but on 29 March, 2018 the decision by Union Minister via Twitter a public platform has lighten up the hope to a higher extent as he announced a 20,000-hike in vacancies in the department increasing the existing 90,000 vacancies to 1,10,000 thus creating alluring 20,000 additional job opportunities.

Going in detail, 9,000 jobs will be created in Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Raiway Protection Special Force (RPSF) which are expected to be published in May this year. The department also notified that 10,000 jobs will be created in L1- and L-2 Categories. This sudden but happening decision has been taken by Union Minister Piyush Goyal to improve travel safety, avoiding derailment and Modernization of Indian Railways as Railway Department is the economical backbone of the country and this densely populated country is in immediate need of inconvenience free Railway travel services.
