RBI Assistant Mains Exam Pattern 2017
RBI Assistant Mains 2017 exam had 5 sections in the objective test of 200 marks - Test of Numerical Ability, Test of English Language, Test of Reasoning, Test of Computer Knowledge, and Test of General Awareness for Each section had its particular time limit and overall the RBI Assistant Mains Paper was 135 Minutes.RBI Assistant Mains 2017: Exam Highlights
The Overall exam was moderate to difficult and students difficulty mainly in General awareness and Reasoning Section. 5 puzzles of difficult type was asked in the Reasoning Section exam.
- Reasoning Ability - There were no syllogism questions asked.
- English Langauge -A new pattern based Sentence Joining Questions were asked.
- Numerical Ability -There were no number series questions in Exam.

English Language Analysis for RBI Assistant Mains 2017:
- The level of English Section was of Moderate Level. An economy based Reading Comprehension was asked which was long.
- A new pattern question was introduced . In this , there were 2 sentences given in the question. Then 3 parts were given. Candidates need to join the two sentences with thehelp of these 3 part and then select the appropriate option.

The level of this section was comparatively high as compared to other sections. Following topics were asked in Numerical Ability Section-
- 03 sets of DI were asked. One table (based on Items sold) , One Bar and One Caselette DI.
- No Number Series Questions were asked.
- Quadratic Equations were asked after a long time in the Assistant Exams.
- Only 5 Data Sufficiency Questions were asked.
- Mostly Miscellaneous Questions were in the easier front for some problems.
- No New Pattern Questions were asked.

The level of reasoning was Difficult. MOT was the real surprise as this was asked this time. There were many questions from this section -Following were 5 types of puzzles asked:

General Awareness Section Analysis for RBI Assistant Mains 2017:
The level of this section was moderate. AIMSUCCESS's GK Pointers & Notes helped students a lot as many questions asked were covered in the our KG Section already.
- Most of the questions were from banking, Static and Current affairs mostly from October- November 2017.
- 10-12 Questions were of static Awareness, 10-12 current affairs and rest were from Banking Awareness.
- There were also few questions from basic banking awareness and surprised students a bit as the level was a bit high.
Computer Knowledge Section Analysis for RBI Assistant Mains 2017:
Computer section was easy and very basic and most of the questions were from basics of Software, Hardware, Port, Internet, Network MS Office, Computer Operating System, Memory, Hardware and software and Computer Security.
