Today is the last day of IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam.The IBPS Prelims Exam was held on 2nd, 3rd, 9th & 10th December 2017. The exam is taking place in 04 Shifts i.e 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, 11:30 - 12:30, 2:00 - 3:00 PM and 4:30 - 5:30 PM.

Exam Pattern of IBPS Clerk 2017 Prelims Exam:
- The Prelims Examination will consist of three sections namely
- Quantitative Aptitude - 35 Marks
- Reasoning Ability - 30 Marks
- English Language - 35 Marks
- The Question paper is of 100 Marks and time allotted for the exam is 01 hour.
- Negative marking of 0.25 marks is applied on each wrong answer.

All the three sections remained unchanged as previous shifts. English Section was equally difficult and challenging as observed in the IBPS Clerk Pre Examination on 2nd and 3rd and 9th of December

The preliminary exam for IBPS Clerk was conducted online and had 100 questions for 60 minutes. Candidates have to manage those 60 minutes themselves while dealing with three sections- Reasoning Ability (35 Ques), Numerical Ability (35 Ques), and English Language (30 Ques).

English Language Analysis
The level of English Language was Moderate-Difficult.- There were no questions related to the vocabulary with Reading Comprehension.
- There were new pattern questions on idiom and phrases where one had to choose an idiom/phrase the was similar to the word given in bold.
- There were questions of double fillers.
- Sentence Rearrangement – A single sentence was divided into 5 different parts. You have to arrange the parts of the sentence to make it grammatically correct sentence.

The level of Numerical Ability section was Easy-Moderate.

Reasoning Ability Analysis
The level of Reasoning Ability Section was Easy.
There were 03 sets of puzzles and Seating Arrangement which are given below:-
- Linear Arrangement – 8 Students sitting in a single row & all of them are facing north.
- Circular Arrangement – 8 People sitting in a circular row. All facing towards center.
- Linear Arrangement – Persons sitting in two rows. Those sitting in Row 1st are facing north & those in row 2 are facing south.
