Data Analysis and Interpretation Analysis Questions Asked IBPS PO Mains 26 November 2017

Data Interpretation Questions:-

1. A tabular graph consisting of data of voters of 5 villages who sat for a survey, percentage of voters who gave it online and one other data. Questions were slightly calculative. 
2. A mixed DI was asked consisting of a tabular and bar graph, based on Profit & Loss. The tabular graph had the data of Marked Price and the Bar graph had the data of Discount percent given of 2 different days for 6 quantities. The questions were conceptual as well as calculative. 
3. A Caselet DI, where the data of vehicles travelling on 3 different Highways on 3 different days was asked. 

Note : The wrong number based Series was asked.

1. B is 400% efficient than A and 25% efficient than C. If all of them work together for 4 days, then how many days it takes for A to complete the work alone.
2. Given, A+B=12 and A2+B2=74
• Quantity 1 = A3+B3
• Quantity 2 = 468
3. Given, m4=1/256 and m3<m2
• Quantity 1 = m
• Quantity 1 = 0
4. 35% Girls & 19% boys participated in sports.
• Statement 1: More than 200 boys are there.
• Statement 2: More than 190 participated in sports.

Reasoning and Computer Aptitude Questions Asked IBPS PO Mains 26 November 2017

Puzzles & Seating Arrangement

1. A circular arrangement was asked where more than 10 people were sitting in a circle, all facing inside (i.e. number of people in the arrangement was not defined). Although there was no additional parameter given, the question was time taking. 
2. A Linear arrangement was given where 3 people were sitting in 2 rows each and directions (i.e. north/ south) was not defined for any particular row). 
3. Another Linear arrangement was given where 7 people were sitting in a single row, 4 facing north. The colours they like was given as an additional parameter.

Blood Relations - 2-3 questions were asked on this topic and the questions were asked from coded blood relations.

Direction Sense  -3-4 Questions were asked from coded distance and direction topic. The code was given for distance as well as direction. For instance,

• P@Q means P is to the east of Q and the distance between them is either 2 or 12. 

Input-Output - There were 2-3 questions asked from single shifting based input-output. 4 numbers and 4 words were given in the arrangement and it was completed in 4 steps.

Coding-Decoding - Word-based coding questions were asked on the new pattern.

Logical Reasoning - 4-5 Questions were asked from logical reasoning including Course of Action, Cause & Effect etc.

English Language Questions Asked IBPS PO Mains 26 November 2017

Reading Comprehension :02 sets of passage based questions were asked containing 5 Questions each.

1. One of the RC was based on China's Environment Activism. 

Sentence Connectors 

• 02 Questions were asked from this topic. 3 statements were given in each question along with conjunctions (And, While). Students had to identify the correct pair of sentences which could be connected with the given conjunctions, without changing the structure of the sentence. 
• 03 questions were asked based on the combination of para completion and para jumbles. Here 5 statements were given based on 'How the evolution of finance helped in the evolution of democracy in ancient Greece'. Questions were based on these given sentences. 

Vocabulary based Questions - 04 questions were asked from this topic. Here 4 words were given in each topic and one had to identify the words which were Synonyms/ Antonyms of each other.

Sentence Correction - 4-5 Questions were asked from this topic. The pattern of these questions was changed. A sentence was given in each question along with 2 bold parts. Students had to identify the error in the parts which were not bold, considering the parts given in bold as correct and modify them accordingly. 

Fillers - 3-4 Questions were asked from this topic based on a new pattern. 

Cloze Test - 07 Questions were asked from this topic. The pattern of Cloze Test was new. For each blank, 2 words were given in each option and students had to identify the option in which bothn the words would aptly fill the given blank. 

Descriptive Writing Question Asked IBPS PO Mains 26 November 2017

English Language (Letter & Essay Writing) for 25 marks, time limit 30 minutes. There were 3 Essays and 3 Letter Writing Topics from which a candidate has to choose:
