Three sections in total were asked in IBPS PO Preliminary Examination: English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude. Overall level of the IBPS PO exam can be categorised as Moderate.
Some of the questions like Inequality etc were easy to attempt while others like Puzzles and miscellaneous questions of quant section were comparatively difficult to attempt.

As expected, English Language section was twisted and the level of paper was Moderate to Difficult compared to the other two sections asked in IBPS PO Prelims.
- The level of the section was difficult as compared to last year.
- The pattern of Spotting Errors was slightly changed.
- Maximum Questions were asked from Reading Comprehension and Error Detection and Correction.
- There is no Cloze Test & Para-Jumbled.
