IBPS PO Preliminary Exam Pattern 2017
The IBPS PO preliminary examinationis conducted online and candidates are allocated total duration of 1 hour to complete the preliminary exam. It consists of 3 sections with a total of 100 questions and maximum score of 100 marks. There is negative marking in IBPS PO preliminary exam and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer attempted by a candidate. Strategy Before the Exam:
- Cover Entire Syllabus: You must study the complete syllabus. You must ensure that you have not missed any of the topics on this list of “Most important topics for IBPS PO Prelims”.

- Sound Time Management: As time duration is 60 minutes for 100 marks exam, the question to time ratio is less than 1. This means that you cannot afford to spend too much time on any question. You must use a sound Time-Management Strategy for attempting the IBPS PO Prelims Exam.
- You must have a precise awareness of your strengths and weaknesses prior to appearing for the exam. Attempt questions which will help you sail through the exam easily and don’t touch questions from unprepared topics in the beginning.
