IBPS PO Preliminary Exam Pattern 2017

The IBPS PO preliminary examinationis conducted online and candidates are allocated total duration of 1 hour to complete the preliminary exam. It consists of 3 sections with a total of 100 questions and maximum score of 100 marks. There is negative marking in IBPS PO preliminary exam and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer attempted by a candidate. Strategy Before the Exam:

  • Cover Entire Syllabus: You must study the complete syllabus. You must ensure that you have not missed any of the topics on this list of “Most important topics for IBPS PO Prelims”.

  • You must have a precise awareness of your strengths and weaknesses prior to appearing for the exam. Attempt questions which will help you sail through the exam easily and don’t touch questions from unprepared topics in the beginning. Questions in Reasoning and Quant can involve complex calculations.
