SSC MTS 2017 Re-Exam in September - Dates Announced
The SSC MTS 2017 Re-Exam dates have been announced and will be held in the month of September/ October 2017.The recruitment exam for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in government departments was cancelled after reports of question paper leak. While the commission had not revealed the new dates earlier, an official notification is out with the new dates for SSC MTS 2016.
The SSC MTS recruitment exam 2016 to fill 8300 group B & C cadre vacancies was published in the month of February 2017.It was estimated that alteast 50 lakh candidates may have submitted their applications online.
The written examination was scheduled to be conducted in the month of April, May & June 2017 in various shifts to accomodate the large number of candidates.
But, due to reports of malpractice, question paper leak and other untoward incidents, the MTS examinations were completely cancelled for all candidates, in May.
SSC MTS 2017 Re-Exam Dates
- Re-examination of MTS (Non Technical) 2016 (paper-I): September 16 to October 26, 2017
- Stenographer Grade ’C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2017: September 11 to 14, 2017
