SSC CGL Tier - 1 : Exam Timings 

The Exam will be conducted by SSC from 05th August to 24th August 2017. Paper will be conducted in three shifts. Shift timings are as follow:
  1. 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM
  2. 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM
  3. 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Analysis - Quantitative Aptitude

Maths was some consuming and tough for most of the students. Quant in CGL 2017 exam was of moderate level.
  • There were 02 questions from trigonometry which are not of basic level. 
  • Revise formulas and short tricks is a must. 
  • Almost 10 questions were asked from advanced math.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Analysis:Reasoning/General Intelligence

The General Intelligence/Reasoning section of SSC CGL 2017 Tier-1 were quite easy.
  • Some questions were difficult from Figure Counting and Coding-Decoding
  • Series & Missing Term Questions were quite difficult in this section
  • The Non-Verbal Reasoning questions were easy to answer
  • The mathematical operation section was tough and required a lot of calculations.
  • No question asked from counting of figure.

Pattern of English Section is surprising candidates with everyday changes as we have seen RC in last days morning slot today 05 questions from Cloze Test instead of RC, Students found English moderate in today's shift. Vocabulary part was quite challenging

SSC CGL 2017 Tier-1 Expected Cut-Off

The cut-off for SSC CGL 2017 Tier-1 will be published after the result of SSC CGL Tier-1 2017. The cut-off will be rolled out both State-Wise and Category-Wise. Candidates will get a proper idea about their chances of selection through the final cut-off for Tier-1 of SSC CGL 2017 Exam.

In 2017, Students were able to score very high marks because they had 15 min. more compared to 2017 CGL Tier-1 Exam. This change in time limit has affected the CGL Exam in a big way. In 2016, the tier-1 cut off was around 137 which was a record high. but for CGL Tier-1 2017, the cut off will be less compared to CGL Tier-1 2016. According to the reviews of students and our Analysis of the exam.



The SSC CGL 2017 Tier - 1 Expected Cut-Off will be in the gap of 113-128. It could be any number in this range. 

Since the exam pattern was more or less similar to that of previous year, we are anticipating the cut-off to be roughly the same as that of SSC CGL 2016.
