IBPS PO Cut Off 2017 - Prelims, Mains & Previous Year Cutoff: The cutoff of IBPS Probationary Officer (PO) is the minimum required marks to be secured by candidates in order to become eligible for next stage of selection process. The IBPS PO cutoff 2017 for prelims, mains and interview will be declared by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) along with the result. 

Score Declaration Dates for IBPS PO 2017 Cutoff 

The cutoff of IBPS PO of Preliminary examination will be released in October 2017 followed by mains and interview cutoff score. IBPS PO cutoff 2017 for Preliminary Exam

The cutoff of IBPS PO Preliminary examination will be declared along with the result in October 2017 tentatively. The IBPS PO 2017 result of preliminary examination will be declared based on the cutoff score. Candidates have to secure cutoff score in each subject – English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The IBPS PO cutoff 2017 for each section will be decided out of total marks allotted to the section. Applicants should also secure category wise cutoff score. IBPS PO 2017 category wise cutoff will be decided out of total marks of 100.

IBPS PO cutoff 2017 for Mains Examination

The cutoff IBPS PO 2017 for mains examination will be declared in December. The overall cutoff will be calculated out of 200 marks. Candidates have to qualify in each of five tests – Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness (with special reference to Banking) and Computer Knowledge by securing cutoff marks decided by IBPS. Besides, candidates should also secure category wise cutoff score.

IBPS PO cutoff 2017 for Interview

IBPS will release the cutoff score of Interview along with the final cutoff. The IBPS PO cutoff 2017 will be calculated out of 100 marks. Candidates will have to qualify the interview securing the cutoff score. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% for general and OBC category candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

IBPS PO 2017 allotment cutoff

The IBPS PO cutoff for allotment will be calculated aggregating the scores obtained by candidates in mains examination and interview. The weightage of mains exam and interview will be 80:20. The scores of mains and interview will be normalised to 100 for provisional allotment. The merit list will be prepared based on the cutoff score for provisional allotment. Candidates who will secure equal to and more than the cutoff score as per their category will be provided allotment in any of the participating banks or financial organisations.IBPS prepares the allotment cutoff score as per the requirement of banks or number of vacancies in each banks.

Process for calculating IBPS PO 2017 allotment score

For eg: If a candidate has scored 90 marks out of 200 in mains exam and 60 marks out of 100 in interview, final allotment score will be calculated through the following formula.
[(90/200)x80] + [(60/100) x 20]

IBPS PO 2017 cutoff for reserve list

IBPS maintains a reserve list to the extent of approximately 10 % of the total vacancies under each category. As and when the participating banks announces further vacancies during April 2018 – March 2019, provisional allotment will be carried out from the reserve list as per the cutoff score.
