What next after Provisional Allotment of IBPS CWE - VI

Dear Aspirants,
IBPS released the Final Result of IBPS CWE VI Exam on 1st April 2017. Many candidates got success in the IBPS CWE VI recruitment. Now, there arise many queries about the process that need to be followed after Provisional Allotment.

So, in this article, we are sharing with you the Process after provisional Allotment.

First let us discuss

What exactly is a Provisional Allotment?

In Provisional Allotment, IBPS shortlists candidates and allot anyone of the Participating Banks who have qualified in both Written Exam & Interview & have cleared the final cutoff. The allotment of banks is done on the basis of candidates merit & preferences order of the bank.
IBPS will also send a selection + confirmation email to all candidates at their registered email IDs about the bank they have allotted. After this process, the role of IBPS finishes and further process is done by allotted bank.

Now

How the merit will be made by the IBPS.

Merit will be made on the basis of your marks in the combined Mains and Interview. It is important to note that if two candidates have obtained the same score, then merit order is decided as per date of birth (the candidate senior in age is placed before/ above the candidate junior in age).
Note: The provisional allotment does not mean an offer of employment i.e. if at any recruitment stage; it is found that the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility his candidature would be cancelled.

Process after provisional allotment -

After provisional allotment of the banks by IBPS, the role of banks starts here. The individual banks will send an appointment letter (offer letter) with the details of formalities to the candidates’ registered email IDs and also to the candidate’s correspondence address which was mentioned during application form.  In some cases banks provide information on their website about formalities or joining schedules.
The appointment or offer letter includes the dates on which the candidates have to report to the bank for training and also the documents & certificates that the candidates need to carry for verification. The mail will also mention medical test, if any, whose certificate has to be submitted at the time of the joining.

When do banks call candidates for training or joining processes?

It is at bank’s discretion, when to call a candidate for training or joining. However, the usual practice says that the minimum time lag between sending the intimation mail and the result declaration date is usually 20 days or 1 month.
But banks may delay sending the intimation by as much as two, three or six months after results are declared.

Training:
Most of the banks conduct training programs for all candidates. These programs are normally 10-15 days long which are held at the banks' own training Centres, zonal offices, or head offices for IBPS PO.
For IBPS Clerk, training will be conducted in the same state by the allotted bank in its training centre or in a regional zonal office.
Mostly banks provide hostels or stay facilities during this period. And the classes are held for 5-6 hours daily wherein candidates are trained in the bank's processes and normal banking procedures. It is only after training is complete that a candidate can actually start working in the bank.
Note: Some Banks conducts training prior to the joining while some conducts it after the joining.

The training for a Probationary Officer will be conducted by the allotted bank in their respective training center.
After successfully completing their training, candidates are taken in the bank as Probationary Officers (JMG Scale-I) and posted in branches of the bank across India.
While for IBPS Clerk, candidates are absorbed in the bank as Clerk  and posted in branches of the bank across any district of the same state.

Thanks
