How you can give your 100%:
  • Generally students even after a lot of preparation are not able to give their 100% in the exam. This is due to the nervousness and the self-created pressure to clear the exam. Students have already set their mind that they will attempt 90% question even some set they will attempt the whole paper and this mind-set ruin their preparation.Always try  to give your 100% not to attempt 100%.

What should you read?
  • This question generally create problem for the students, as they try to cover whole things in the last remaining days and this way they create tension in their mind and the pressure on their mind keep increases. So dear students don’t try to cover whole thing just try to revise what you have learned and revise the short notes which you have already prepare.
  • Revise the important maths formulas, specially the key topics in advanced maths.
  • Revise the short tricks for time and distance, profit and loss, percentage, mixture & alligation and ratio & proportion. These will help you save crucial time during the exam.
  • Revise the important one word and idioms & phrases in English section.
  • Don’t try to learn new words/vocab in last few days.
  • In GS revise your strong sections. Don’t read any new topics as you will lose your confidence level.

Mind Calmness:
  • During last time students mind does not remain calm and negative thought comes in their mind. Sometimes they complain about headache so to keep these problem away take a complete 8 hour sleep.

Confidence Role:
Don’t judge yourself  low, as this will create negative thought in your mind and you cannot concentrate well during the exam. So to overcome this problem maintain your confidence level, because if we are confident it means we are enough ready to beat any problem and can deal with any circumstance well.

Role of timing in SSC CHSL Tier I Exam 2016-017:
Well everyone knows that Time Management is the key in anything, especially exams like these. Firstly, just don’t pressurize yourself too much before the exam even starts or else that pressure of finishing everything in time is what will hurt you. Instead, be relaxed, stay focused and to be honest, just don’t think much at all. Don’t give too much time to any question as a single minute will take you back.
  • Here is an indicative strategy, you can modify this according to your strengths and weaknesses -
    • First of all attempt reasoning section in first 15 minutes
    • Then attempt Maths in next 30 minutes
    • Then attempt English section in next 15 minutes
    • In last 10 minutes solve the GS portion
  • In last 5 minutes of the exam, pressure is high so don’t attempt maths or reasoning in the end. Solve either GS or English in last as you can utilise every second of  the exam.
  • Leave the last 5 minutes to act as a buffer for the questions which you have marked for attempting in the end.
Accuracy Matters to avoid Negative Marks
  • You know there are deducted for every wrong answer. So accuracy matters too.  firstly complete the exam with the stuff you know well and attempt the questions that you know the correct answers to.
Combination of Speed & Accuracy is a must:
  •  Speed and Accuracy is the ultimate way to success. These are the foremost important factors in the exam. How to attempt questions faster? How to increase reading speed?
  • For increasing speed, solve easier questions first and mark the tough ones for the left time. Spending too much time on a single question will tend to reduce your speed.
  • Most of the aspirants believe that Speed is the most important factor, but in reality it is not. However, Candidates, with average speed, have managed to perform excellently by perfecting their Time Management and Accuracy.
Success is not an accident. It is the result of your attitude and your hard work. So choose your path and work towards your destination with full determination.
All the Best !
