IBPS RRB Office Assistant Prelims Overall Exam Analysis

The overall level of this exam was Easy to Moderate and Pattern and level of this shift were similar to that of the previous days & Slots. The overall & section good attempt of the questions mentioned as below for the reference of the candidates.

In the quantitative aptitude section of IBPS RRB Office Assistant the level of the questions asked in reasoning section ranged from Moderate but a bit calculative.

1. Simplification and Approximation: 15 Qs (Easy)

• 10 questions of simplification and 05 questions of Approximations were asked.
• Questions were based on simple calculations. Questions could be solved with the easy application of BODMAS rules. 

2. Wrong Number Series:  05 Qs (Moderate) 

• Questions were based on simple arithmetic calculations such as difference, multiplication but slightly tricky.

3. Data Interpretation: 05 Qs (Easy) 

• Table Chart 

4. Quadratic Equation: 05 Qs (Easy) 

5. Miscellaneous Problems: 05 Qs (Moderate) 

• This section included questions from topics like Time & Work, Profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Partnership, Age-based problems, Percentages, Speed, time & distance etc.
• Some questions were a bit calculative. 8-8 questions were easily doable.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant Analysis for Reasoning Section

The level of the Reasoning section was moderate. Aspirants who have done proper practice and time management can score in reasoning easily. There were no questions from Coding Decoding & Syllogism topic.

1. Inequality (Direct inequality) : Nos of Qs - 05 (Easy) 

2. Puzzles + Seating Arrangement  : Nos of Qs - 15 (Easy to Moderate)

• Scheduling Based - Monday To Sunday - 7 person
• Linear Arrangement - a Certain number of people and they are facing South. (Tough)
• Linear Arrangement - 7 people seating in a row where some people facing South & some people facing North.

3. Alphabet Series: Nos of Qs - 05 (Easy) 

• Questions from this topic were easily doable. 
• Alphabets series were given in a sequence and you need to perform operations on them as per instructions are given in a question.

4. Number Series: Nos of Qs - 05 (Easy) 

• Questions from this topic were easily doable. 
• 3 Digits Number were given in a sequence and you need to perform operations on them as per instructions are given in a question.

5. Data sufficiency: Nos of Qs - 05 (Moderate)

• Based on two statements. Miscellaneous questions were there. 

6. Blood Relation: Nos of Qs - 03 (Easy) 

7. Miscellaneous:  Nos of Qs - 02 (Easy) 

• Single Qs on Number & Alphabets 

IBPS RRB Office Assistant Pre Exam Expected Cutoff 2018

The contenders must get the minimum cutoff marks in order to get qualified from the examination. The aspirants can check the expected details of the cutoff marks from the official site. The cutoff marks may be declared after the announcement of the result of the prelims exam. The officials may plan to declare the result in the month of September 2018.
