IBPS RRB PO Prelims Exam Analysis:  Dear Aspirants, as you all know IBPS is start conducting the RRB PO Exam ( Officer Scale -1 ) Prelims 2017 Exam and here we are providing you the Detailed Exam Review of IBPS RRB PO Prelims Exam Analysis (9th September) - Shift 3

The Exam for RRB PO will be held in total 5 slots. The time slots are a follows : 8 am, 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, & 4 p.m.
So, without wasting any moment, let's get straight to the analysis for which you are all waiting for. There were no major changes in this shift and the level and types of questions asked were similar to previous shifts. 

Over-All  IBPS RRB Po Prelims 2017-18 Exam Analysis

As per the exam syllabus and pattern for IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I Examination, there were 80 questions in total. Each question carried 1 mark and the total time to solve the paper was 45 minutes.

IBPS RRB Officer Pre Exam Analysis for Quant Section

In the quantitative aptitude section of IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I, the level of the questions asked in reasoning section ranged from Easy to Moderate but a bit calculative. 
  1. Syllogism: 5 Questions were based on the old pattern.
  2. Inequality: 5 Questions were asked from direct inequality
  3. Coding- Decoding: 5 Questions were asked from Sentence Coding.
  4. Puzzles and Seating Arrangement: 20 Questions 
    • Circular Arrangement: This included some people facing inward, while some facing outside the circle.
    • Linear Arrangement: 2 parallel rows were given, with people in 1 row facing north and ones in the other, facing south.
    • Another was a month based scheduling puzzle.
    • box puzzle was also asked with the arrangement of 8 boxes. 
  5. Questions in this section were asked from Alphabet test as well as Order & Ranking.

    IBPS RRB Officer Pre Exam Analysis for Reasoning Section

    The level of the questions asked in reasoning section ranged from Easy to Moderate, and some were plain confusing. 
    1. Number Series: 5 Questions 
    2. Quadratic  Equations: 5 Questions These questions were easy to attempt and almost all of them were doable. 
    3. Simplification/ Approximation: 5 Questions 
    4. Data Interpretation: : 15 Questions (3 sets)
      • (a) Line Chart
      • (b) Pie Chart
      • (c) Tabular Graph: Based on the number of students in Physics and Chemistry and their percentage. 
    5. Miscellaneous Questions : were asked from topics like Time and Work, Percentages, Speed time & distance, Profit and Loss, Partnership etc.
