Nico Rosberg Won F1 European Grand Prix 


Nico Rosberg of Germany on 19 June won the European Grand Prix Formula 1 championship in Baku, Azerbaijan.To win the title, the Mercedes driver overcame Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel of Germany in the final race. In this championship, Rosberg completed second career Grand Slam. Prior to him, only Lewis Hamilton, Mika Hakkinen, Jack Brabham and Juan Manuel Fangio could able to achieve this rare feat.He recorded the first career Grand Slam in Russian Grand Prix in May 2016.



India-UAE To Form Joint Parliamentary Panel

India and the UAE will set up a joint parliamentary panel to enhance relations and facilitate their visits to promote cooperation to tackle security issues and challenges facing the region. A decision was taken in this regard during a meeting between first woman speaker of UAEs Federal National Council (FNC) Amal Abdullah Al-Qubaisi and the Indian ambassador TP Seetharam.


Haryana To Have India’s First AYUSH University


Haryana to have the country’s first-of-its-kind AYUSH University as the State cabinet has approved a proposal to upgrade Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College, Kurukshetra, as a university. The Shri Krishna AYUSH University would have courses of all the systems of AYUSH.


Punjab First To Provide Free Hepatitis C Treatment


Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has launched a special fund called ‘Mukh Mantri Punjab Hepatitis C Relief Fund’ to provide free treatment for patients affected by Hepatitis C. With this initiative, Punjab has become the first state in the country to provide free treatment to confirmed cases of Hepatitis C. Punjab government has created a special fund with an initial contribution of Rs 20 crore called the ‘Mukh Mantri Punjab Hepatitis C Relief Fund’ for this purpose. Hepatitis C is a disease caused by a virus that infects the liver. In time, it can lead to cirrhosis, liver cancer, and liver failure.
