HP TET November 2023: The notification for the HP TET in November 2023 has been released by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education in Dharamshala. The HP TET Dates in November 2023 have been announced for various subjects including Shastri TET, LT TET, TGT (Non-Medical), TET, TGT (Arts) TET, TGT (Medical) TET, Punjabi TET, and Urdu TET. The HPTET exam is conducted twice a year, in June and November. By qualifying in the HPTET 2023 exam, candidates can become eligible for TGT, JBT, and LT posts. TGT (Arts) TET :

B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
B.A./B.Com. with at least 45% marks(only for those who have passed B.Ed. upto 30.08.2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A.Ed.
OR
B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) (Special Education).

TGT(Non-Medical) :

Note:-II. Pass in Urdu Language Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by H.P.Board of School Education Dharamshala. Provided that the incumbents who have already qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education Dharamshala shall also be eligible subject to the condition as laid in para-II of guidelines issued by the National Council for Teacher Education vide Notification No. 76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad. Dated 11.2.2011.

HP TET Exam Pattern 2023:

HP TET Exam Pattern varies for different subjects selected by the candidates. Before proceeding with the exam, you must be aware of the HP TET Exam Pattern 2023 including all the topics to be asked in the exam. Here we are sharing the complete details of the HP TET exam pattern subject-wise:

  • Exam Mode- Offline 
  • Total Questions – 150
  • Total Marks – 150
  • Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking applicable in the exam
  • The minimum marks required to qualify for the exam are 90 i.e 60%
  • There shall be no negative marking. 
  • A candidate must choose the correct answer and shade against the appropriate choice in the OMR response sheet with blue/black ball point pen adhering to the instructions provided. 
  • As the answers will be given with blue/black ball point pen by darkening the appropriate circle, the candidates will have no option to change the answers once given. Therefore, the correct option/ answer may be ensured before darkening the circle.

The eligibility requirements for the TGT TET standard include coverage of child psychology, development, pedagogy, and teaching-learning processes. The test items will concentrate on educational psychology that pertains to the 11 to 14 age group. The exam will evaluate comprehension of diverse learners' characteristics, needs, and psychology, as well as interaction with learners and the qualities of effective facilitators of learning. Additionally, other areas of the test will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus for classes VI to VIII in the state, with varying levels of complexity. So, candidates should be well-prepared for the examination. standard as well as linkages could be up to 10+2 level of H.P. Board of School Education.

Section-ll Q.121-150 General Awareness including Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs & Environmental Studies.

Language Teacher TET :

Section-l Q.1-120 Hindi Course of Graduation level.
Section-ll Q.121-150 General Awareness including Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs & Environmental Studies
