State Launches Innovative Sustainable Food Systems Platform in Collaborative Effort
- In a significant stride towards bolstering sustainable agricultural practices and uplifting the livelihoods of natural farmers, the state of Himachal Pradesh is rolling out a Sustainable Food System Platform (SusPNF).
- This collaborative endeavour brings together the expertise of Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry (UHF), Nauni, the State Agriculture Department, and Farmer Producer companies.
- The SusPNF is set to become the first of its kind in the country.
- It is a result of a Memorandum of Association between the University, the State Department of Agriculture’s Prakritik Krishi Khushal Yojana (PK3Y), and the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
- The primary goal of this collaboration is to empower natural farmers and drive advancements in the agricultural sector, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for local communities.
राज्य ने सहयोगात्मक प्रयास में नवोन्वेषी सतत खाद्य प्रणाली प्लेटफार्म लॉन्च किया
- टिकाऊ कृषि पद्धतियों को बढ़ावा देने और प्राकृतिक किसानों की आजीविका को ऊपर उठाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रगति में, हिमाचल प्रदेश राज्य एक सतत खाद्य प्रणाली प्लेटफार्म (SusPNF) शुरू कर रहा है।
- यह सहयोगात्मक प्रयास डॉ. वाईएस परमार बागवानी एवं वानिकी विश्वविद्यालय (यूएचएफ), नौणी, राज्य कृषि विभाग और किसान उत्पादक कंपनियों की विशेषज्ञता को एक साथ लाता है।
- SusPNF देश में अपनी तरह का पहला संस्थान बनने जा रहा है।
- यह विश्वविद्यालय, राज्य कृषि विभाग की प्राकृतिक कृषि खुशहाल योजना (पीके3वाई) और राष्ट्रीय कृषि और ग्रामीण विकास बैंक (नाबार्ड) के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन का परिणाम है।
- इस सहयोग का प्राथमिक लक्ष्य प्राकृतिक किसानों को सशक्त बनाना और कृषि क्षेत्र में प्रगति लाना है, जिससे अंततः स्थानीय समुदायों के लिए जीवन की गुणवत्ता में वृद्धि होगी।
