समदो बॉर्डर पर देश का पहला ट्रैफिक सिस्टम
- देश में समुद्रतल से दस हजार फुट की ऊंचाई पर पहली बार इंटेलिजेंट ट्रैफिक मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम से लैस उपकरण स्थापित कर लाहुल-स्पीति पुलिस ने नया कीर्तिमान स्थापित किया है।
- लाहुल-स्पीति पुलिस ने करीब 11 हजार फुट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित चीन अधिकृत तिब्बत सीमा पर इंटेलिजेंट टै्रफिक मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम स्थापित किया है।
- इंटेलिजेंट टै्रफिक मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम स्थापित होने से पुलिस चैक पोस्ट सुमदो से गुजरने वाले हर संदिग्ध वाहन पर हाई रेजुलेशन कैमरे की पैनी नजर रहेगी।
- खास बात यह है कि लगभग समुद्र तल से 10,000 फुट की ऊंचाई पर स्थापित होने वाला यह देश का पहला इंटेलिजेंट ट्रैफिक मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम है।
- आईटीएमएस की स्थापना से पुलिस को आने जाने वाले पर्यटक वाहन का उचित रिकार्ड बनाए रखने में काफी मदद मिलेगी। साथ ही अपराध का पता लगाने में भी मदद मिलेगी।
क्या है आईटीएमएस यंत्र
- इंटेलिजेंट टै्रफिक मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम की मदद से पुलिस नियंत्रण कक्ष में बैठ पर सडक़ों से गुजरने वाले हर वाहन की जानकारी हासिल कर सकता है। आईटीएमएस में एक हाई रेजुलेशन कैमरा लगा होता है जो इंटरनेट के जरिए सीधे पुलिस नियंत्रण कक्ष से जुड़ा होता है। कैमरे की नजर इतनी पैनी होगी कि वाहन चालक की तस्वीर देख कर पता चल जाएगा कि शख्स ने सीट बेल्ट पहनी है या नहीं। कैमरा वाहन के स्पीड को भी रीड कर सकेगा।

Country's first traffic system at the Samdo border
- For the first time in the country, Lahaul-Spiti Police has set a new record by installing equipment equipped with an Intelligent Traffic Management System at a height of 10,000 feet above sea level.
- Lahaul-Spiti Police has installed Intelligent Traffic Management System on the China Occupied Tibet border located at an altitude of about 11,000 feet.
- With the installation of an Intelligent Traffic Management System, high-resolution cameras will keep a sharp eye on every suspicious vehicle passing through the police check post-Sumdo.
- The special thing is that it is the country's first Intelligent Traffic Management System to be installed at an altitude of 10,000 feet above sea level.
- The installation of ITMS will go a long way in helping the police to maintain a proper record of the tourist vehicles coming and going. Along with this, it will also help in detecting the crime.
What is ITMS device
- With the help of the Intelligent Traffic Management System, the police can get information about every vehicle passing through the roads while sitting in the control room. ITMS consists of a high-resolution camera which is directly connected to the police control room through the internet. The vision of the camera will be so sharp that by looking at the picture of the driver of the vehicle, it will be known whether the person is wearing a seat belt or not. The camera will also be able to read the speed of the vehicle.
