Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd (SJVN) has invited applications for the recruitment of Field Officer, Junior Field Engineer, and Junior Field Officer posts on a contract basis for an initial period of three years.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website - http://www.sjvn.nic.in/ - up to August 24, 2021. सतलुज जल विद्युत निगम लिमिटेड (एसजेवीएन) ने तीन साल की प्रारंभिक अवधि के लिए अनुबंध के आधार पर फील्ड ऑफिसर, जूनियर फील्ड इंजीनियर और जूनियर फील्ड ऑफिसर पदों की भर्ती के लिए आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं। इच्छुक और योग्य उम्मीदवार 24 अगस्त, 2021 तक आधिकारिक वेबसाइट - http://www.sjvn.nic.in/ के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
Candidates should note that the contract period can further be extended on yearly basis for two more years depending upon the work requirement and performance of the individual. उम्मीदवारों को ध्यान देना चाहिए कि अनुबंध की अवधि को काम की आवश्यकता और व्यक्ति के प्रदर्शन के आधार पर वार्षिक आधार पर दो और वर्षों के लिए बढ़ाया जा सकता है।
Only Indian Nationals of age 18 years or above are eligible to apply for SJVN. Posts of Field Officers are to be filled on All India basis while for Junior Field Engineers/Officers only domiciles of following states are eligible for applying: Regional basis - Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Chandigarh. केवल 18 वर्ष या उससे अधिक आयु के भारतीय नागरिक ही एसजेवीएन के लिए आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं। फील्ड ऑफिसर के पद अखिल भारतीय आधार पर भरे जाने हैं, जबकि जूनियर फील्ड इंजीनियर्स / अधिकारियों के लिए केवल निम्नलिखित राज्यों के मूल निवासी आवेदन करने के लिए पात्र हैं: क्षेत्रीय आधार - उत्तराखंड, उत्तर प्रदेश, हिमाचल प्रदेश, पंजाब, हरियाणा, लद्दाख, जम्मू और कश्मीर, और चंडीगढ़।

SJVN Recruitment 2021: Educational Qualification
- For Human Resource: Graduate with two years full-time MBA/Post-Graduate Diploma with specialization in Personnel/HR.
- For Finance & accounts: CA/ICWA-CMA/Two years full-time MBA with specialization in Finance
- For Civil: Full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering
- For Electrical: Full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- For Mechanical: Full-Time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- For Human Resource: Graduate with one/two-year Full-time Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management/Social Works/ Labor Welfare/Business Management/ Office Management/Public Administration
- For Finance & Accounts: Inter-CA or Inter-CMA (Simple Pass) or full-time M.Com
- For Official Language: Full-time Master’s Degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as the main subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level. Desirable – Diploma in Hindi Translation.
Note: Simple pass for CA/ICWACMA/InterCA/Inter CMA & for other prescribed qualification aggregate 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD and 55% marks for others.

SJVN Recruitment 2021: Age Limit
Only Indian Nationals of age 18 years or above are eligible to apply for SJVN. The upper age limit is 30 Years as of the closing date of advertisement.- Upper age relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST as applicable.
- For Physically Challenged, the upper age is relaxable by 10 years for General Category, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST category.
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for only those candidates belonging to the ‘Non- Creamy Layer.
- Concession for J&K Candidates: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.80 to 31.12.89.
SJVN Recruitment 2021: Selection Process
- For Field Officer: The selection process consists of Computer Based Test followed by Group discussions and Personal Interviews.
- For Junior Field Engineer/Officer: The selection process involves Computer Based Test only. The provisionally shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- Computer Based Test: For the post of Field Officer, the test will be in two parts, Part-I will consist of 120 multiple choice questions of the relevant discipline and Part-II will consist of 30 multiple choice questions on Executive Aptitude.
