SBI Clerk Mains 2018: Exam Highlights/ Key Changes
- Quantitative Aptitude: The level of this section was difficult. 4 Data interpretation questions were asked. There were no questions from Number series, simplification, and approximation. There were questions from quantity based and quadratic equation questions. The questions were very calculative.
- Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude: This section was quite time-consuming and difficult.No question from computer aptitude was asked. Puzzles and seating arrangement dominated the section. There were some new pattern questions also. Reading the instructions properly was a must. No questions from syllogism and inequality were asked.
- General English: English Language was scoring in the exam. Although there were some new pattern questions but they were doable and not tricky. Candidates managed to attempt a good number of questions.
- General/Financial Awareness: This section was quite scoring for the candidates. Most of the current affairs questions revolved around May, June and July month current affairs. There were 4-5 questions from static GK and 10-15 questions from banking awareness.
