SBI PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2018: Today is the Third & Last day of the SBI PO Prelims Examination is being Conducted in Multiple Shifts, The SBI PO 2018 Prelims Exam is Scheduled from (1st July) and on 07th & 08th July. There are 03 sections in SBI PO prelims (English, Quant and Reasoning) with total marks of 100 and 20 minutes duration for each section. Highlights of SBI PO Prelims Exam 2018
Here are some Highlights of SBI PO Prelims Exam 2018
- Section Sequence - English, Reasoning, and Quant
- Variations - The pattern of this shift was changed to that of the previous shifts.
- Reasoning Ability Section - Syllogism and Inequality questions were not asked. No new pattern questions were asked.
- Quantitative Aptitude Section - NO simplification and approximation questions were asked.
- English Language Section - New pattern 'Match the column', 'Find the correct sentence' and 'Sentence Rearrangement' questions were asked.
- There is no new pattern introduced but some questions were there which previously used to be asked in mains only.
The Examination held in this shift was of Moderate to Lengthy Level.
SBI PO Exam Analysis 2018: Section-wise Analysis
Owing to the sectional time limits introduced in this year’s exam, the order of attempt of the sections was pre-decided and fixed. The order in which the sections had to be attempted were: English, Reasoning and finally Quantitative Aptitude.

Quantitative Aptitude - SBI PO 2018 Exam Analysis 8th July
Among all three sections of Today's 08th Slot, the quantitative aptitude section was comparatively easier but the level was Moderate.
Data Interpretation - 2 DI questions were asked. - One was based on data of 2 pie charts. The question was based on number of vehicles.
- Second DI was based on Sales and expenses. In this a Bar Graph was given.

English Language - SBI PO 2018 Exam Analysis 8th July 2018
English section was of Moderate Level, This section was easier in this 2nd slot.- There were only 05 question in the set of Reading Comprehension out of which 02 question was of vocabulary.
- The RC was based on the topic of ' Unemployment Rate in America '. There were 2 questions of synonyms & antonyms.
- Cloze Test - The cloze test was related to the topic of 'Economy'.Old pattern cloze test was asked.

Reasoning - SBI PO 2018 Exam Analysis 8th July
The level of reasoning was Moderate to Lengthy. Puzzles were time-consuming but apart from puzzles, there were other questions in which students could score.
