Bureau Of Indian Standards - BIS Exam Cancelled - Check Official Notice
Bureau Of Indian Standards (BIS) 2018: Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), a statutory body under Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Govt. of India, has released a notice regarding cancellation of online examination which was scheduled to be held on 15th April 2018 for the post of Scientist-‘B’.
The online written Test for recruitment of 109 posts of scientists conducted by BIS announced cancellation of Exam on Friday after alleged anomalies in the recruitment process.The decision has been taken after receiving a report from the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO).
Following the direction from the Ministry, the exam which was scheduled to be on Sunday is officially cancelled. CVO also pointed out that Human Resource Department of BIS was unaware of any audit for security features for the conduct of Exam whereas BIS to set some new rules has asked for more time. The chaos created after improper division of weightage for online test and interview not conforming with BIS regulations led to cancellation of exam and setting new rules.
